On Saturday, Ted Cruz added all of Colorados 34 delegates to his column. This year, the Colorado GOP made the controversial decision to alter the way it selected delegates. It gets a little convoluted but basically voters selected district delegates who then selected the delegates who will choose the nominee this summer in Cleveland. If that sounds confusing, it is. By virtually all accounts, it was something of a mess. Whether you think the party disenfranchised voters - or made a smart move - probably has a lot to do with which candidate you back.
Saturday night, after the big Cruz victory, the Colorado GOP seemed to make their choice clear:
Trump is clearly winning the public perception war with ammunition the other candidates give him. Stupid of them, normal for Trump
Colorado GOP Lied About #NeverTrump Tweet The Account Was Not Hacked

Trump mentioned this evidence of a rigged Colorado process in his Albany, NY rally. How can Rinse Prius defend this - what an ars.
Yes, and what is absolutely hilarious is that the media is unwittingly helping him thinking they are attacking him as a "whiner" which only calls attention to the rigged process making his supporters even MORE rock solid and attracting new supporters - too funny!
I have more respect for people that just smoke pot in Colorado than the Gope.
Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."
And the Cruz folks just can’t seem to help themselves. Look at what Phyllis Schlafly’s daughter and her husband (both big Cruz supporters) are doing to the Eagle Forum
Of course it wasn’t “hacked.” Nobody said it was “hacked.”
You glom onto lies, and promote promote promote them. Really pathetic, your pushing lies in an effort to promote your candidate. Lie lover.
How many times is this “story” going to be published on FR? This is, what, the 10th time it’s been shared?
The last tweet was the result of unauthorized access to our account and in no way represents the opinion of the party. We are investigating.— The Colorado GOP (@cologop) April 10, 2016
FWIW, the immediate response when information about the tweet came out was that the account was hacked.
No, it wasn’t.
Where did the Colorado GOP use the term “hacked”?
Here’s the answer: They didn’t.
Words mean things.
Trump is a deductive thinker - he begins with the goal and works back from there - no wasted motion - only what contributes to the result.— Bill Mitchell (REAL) (@mitchellvii) March 21, 2016
Guys like Cruz are inductive thinkers. They are so obsessed with the ideological front end, the actual result is an afterthought.— Bill Mitchell (REAL) (@mitchellvii) March 21, 2016
I googled that letter, and it only shows up in one place: in one Reddit thread, posted by an anonymous user:

One Reddit comment. One tweet. One update. So many of our significant opinions are based on anonymous fleeting comments on social media. Nice.
“Give it up. The damage is done.”
No, I will continue to resist the lies being spread about Cruz in an effort to defeat him.
I invite you to give up on promoting such lies.
It is good to promote your candidate, his record, his promises, his character. It’s lousy to denigrate your political opponents by spreading lies about them.
