Dick Morris: Trump's 'Brilliant' Campaign Short on Delegate Process
NewsMax ^ | April 11, 2016 | Greg Richter

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz isn't stealing the GOP presidential nomination away from Donald Trump as the front-runner says, but is only working the system better, political analyst Dick Morris tells Newsmax TV.

"What's going on really is that Trump is a guy who intuitively understood stuff that no other politician did, and he invented a style of campaigning that will live long after him," Morris told "Dennis Michael Lynch: Unfiltered."

"This was a watershed year in that he brought a whole new method of incorporating social media and rallies and all of that stuff. It was brilliant," Morris said. "Of course, in doing it he didn't consult anybody. He didn't talk to any of the political pros or consultants because he knew better. In fact, he did know better and he produced incredible results."

But without those advisers, Trump never backfilled an organizational delegate selection managing process either, Morris added. "It's like putting your army in winter uniforms when you invade Russia."

Cruz's strategy of wooing Trump delegates for a potential second round of convention voting if no one wins a majority on the first vote is not "Gestapo tactics," as Trump's newly hired convention manager Paul Manafort said Sunday.

"That may appear Gestapo tactics when you're the victim of it, but it's a pretty cool move in my book," Morris said....

“isn’t stealing the GOP presidential nomination away from Donald Trump as the front-runner says, but is only working the system better, “

Hillary isn’t commuting voter fraud, she’s just expanding democracy.

War is peace
Freedom is slavery
People not voting for a candidate is actually people efficiently awarding delegates to the Gope flunkie!

Posters for ted probably get time and a half. Or $$ per responses? Who knows?

It will taper off after the NY primary next week

I’m more than sure that he just does google searches all day for any Cruz propaganda under the news tab, and then quickly copies and paste it to FR.

There is a little team of them they do it all day.

Again, I apologize for my candidate being smarter and more organized than yours. I can see where that looks like cheating to you.

It is always the same 4 to 7 people on here posting day and night.

If this is one person to one username then they need to take a break or spend time with family as they are on here over 18 hours a day.

I have more of a feeling this group are paid party hacks where there is more than one person to a username. People need sleep and to eat they are not getting it.

They actually have their talking point today of cruz is smarted.
Not at smart when the voters see another ivy league lawyer who can’t finish his first term “influencing “ delegates against the will of what the voters want, and then think these voters are going to vote for him in an general.

There is no stealing, just Trump’s reaction to the obvious, that he did not hire the best, and question as to whether he would hire the best if elected. It has become hysterical to watch his spokes people on CNN, laugh out loud funny.

Well lets see how smart this bastard is when the Gope dusts him when they no longer need him or his bumpkin supporters to run cover for them.

But see you guys love the soft media treatment and the Gope patting you on the head, so you all feel comfortable flapping your big mouths like you really know what’s what. Like Cruz is actually “popular”.

So I wont bother apologizing when you wake up butthurt when the little fantasy comes crashing down.

Not that ill have to. You all will just stop posting to FR and disappear.

You are a port in the storm and we thank you, speaking for those who never post because of the discourse and the very many who have just moved on to avoid the slander and gossip against all who are not Trump.

Really?

Is the will of the people served by a system where the candidate who appeals to the most people can be thwarted by the one who buys the most delegates?

The very fact that Cruz has taken to buying delegates rather than trying to appeal to voters stinks of deep corruption and contempt for the voters.

Well, what can you expect from a lawyer, a member of a profession that holds that cleverness and slick words are far more important that revealing the truth or upholding justice?

If you have proof of the Cruz campaign buying delegates you should call the Federal Election Commission later this morning. Want their phone number?

I’m still trying to understand how “smart” and “constitutional” Ted was when he voted for the Corker bill to turn Senate treaty ratification on its head.
