I think it was very sweet.
That is bad. Just so phony, and his direction off camera makes me think he is selling a commodity. And the commodity is a family man who lives for his religion and his kids.
Though he doesn’t. He doesn’t even live with his kids much. He’s selling a fake commodity.
Seen this video before, and I don’t have a problem with it. It’s the nature of video production. And screw (or don’t screw) that feckless twats that disagree.

That was the last straw for me. Not only did Ted Cruz expose himself as a naked opportunist, but he missed a golden opportunity to demonstrate leadership.
Ted Cruz really couldn't have been more tone deaf. The occasion (a criminal attack by Left wing thugs which resulted in the cancellation of a GOP rally) should have united the entire field of candidates in a show of party solidarity. Instead, at a very serious moment when politics should have been laid aside, Cruz, instead of showing leadership, turned it into a cheap shot at the party frontrunner. Just despicable. And overtly disloyal to the party itself.
But there was an even earlier red flag: Cruz shamefully and disingenuously played the race card on Donald Trump during the Duke kerfluffle, knowing it was a smear. Nothing is sleazier than that.

Yup, that day Cruz made it personal — not only against Trump, but his supporters. And so has his bootlicker, Levin.
Don’t know why Cruz theoretically polls better with women than Trump. I find everything about him phoney and creepy. I think that Hillary would make running against him another McCaskill versus Akin race. He’s supposed to be so brilliant and such a great debater but his jokes stink and he is stiff and would make Hillary look friendly by comparison.
Yup, therein is the ethics issue due to lack of judgement... or vice versa.

That part where Cruz’s mom gave him the look when he said she spent “hours in prayer” says a lot about Cruz’s character. His own mom basically let on that he is full of BS. He couldn’t just leave it at “my mom prays for me” which I’m sure is the truth, he just had to go with the extra exaggeration.
Kind of like “the whole Republican party is coalescing behind my campaign”. I’m giving Ted the same look his mom did.
His kids are adorable though.
