I would certainly support Ted Cruz if…

I wanted to support Ted Cruz as the Republican nominee for president from the start but more than a few “IFs” got in the way.

If more than a few "IFs" get in the way, there is no candidate worth supporting. Human beings are imperfect, especially when judged by the imperfect standards of other human beings - they make mistakes, they change their minds, they grow or diminish. Cruz has said and done things I don't like, as has Trump. Nevertheless, both men are the most conservative candidates to lead the GOP nomination race since Reagan. Either man gets my vote in November if nominated.

Has anyone looked at the results of this poll on # 11 comment? Over 1000 votes 71% for Trump/. Yesterday a Cruz supporter said No minds where changed on FR away from Cruz and to Trump. There is no way this site was anything less than 60 Cruz 5 months ago.

That’s a good start. NAU/CFR and bankster links, multiple Bush endorsements, aberrant religious absurdities and so on queued up as well.

Wow. That’s objective.

The list of IFs for Deceptive Donnie would be a mile long for me.

I don’t really have 10 years to write it.

You do understand that the Gope doesn’t care anymore?

The minute Trump knocked out Rubio and Bush, they were done with tossing dice at the idea that the people would do as they were expected.

IMO he was already, and always, their sockpuppet. Specifically one of the cogs in the Bush machine.

He is a false front operation.

I have a gut feeling that Ted is going to announce Carly as his VP choice before he even has a nomination in hand

I would have to either vote libertarian or write in myself at that point

Many years ago, as a delegate to the Republican state convention in Georgia, I took part in a process to select delegates to attend the national convention. I couldn’t describe the exact process, and it may be different in other states, but a lot of important things happen at the state conventions and I encourage others to get involved at the local level.

The caucus voting started roughly around the time some Cruz supporters were banned (for whatever reason). Some Cruz supporters left or stopped posting on their own. I've heard otherCruz supporters say (rightly or wrongly) that this is a Trump site.

Speaking for myself as a Cruz supporter, I don't participate in the caucus because I think it doesn't represent the amount of support Cruz would have had here. That's just my opinion.

Wonderful, another post attacking Cruz which can be boiled down to “vote Trump”. Come on now, as Bill O’ says “Keep it pithy”. No reason for all these words when you are really just saying “vote Trump”.

I could say “vote Cruz” or I could say “I would support Trump is he were an actual conservative, but he isn’t so I won’t.”

Cruz was very specific in his NY comments. He did not personally support same-sex marriage, but in any case it was not something the Federal government should be involved with. Any legal actions could only be at the State level. As we know, the majority of State referendums and constitutional votes were clearly against it.

“I could say “vote Cruz” or I could say “I would support Trump is he were an actual conservative, but he isn’t so I won’t.” “

Very succinctly put, and right on point.

The only people supporting Ted Cruz at this point are those who desire another Democrat President.

I could support Ted Cruz if I wanted to implement an anti-American globalist New World Order and replace the USA with a North American Union.

The link proved my point.

I went deeper and only found 3 comments since Sept. 2015.

So I stand corrected, once in a blue moon will The Coach post a reply or comment other than posting an excerpt of his Blog.

...he's not an active participant in our forum.
