Uncovered: The Main Donors to SuperPAC, “Make America Awesome”

Donors are primarily Establishment GOP types with NO ties to Ted Cruz

The entire despicable affair regarding the absolutely destructive behavior of Donald Trump has, in my opinion, been orchestrated to maximize the sleaze affect in order to suppress the Cruz vote. Since Trump is maxxed out on being able to get new voters, he is now trying to prevent Cruz from amassing enough votes to win at a contested convention.

Keep in mind my contention that the entire focus of this sequence of events is based upon the fact that the biggest enemy in the GOP primary is not Trump, but Ted Cruz. So let’s take a look at the start of the sequence.

The SuperPAC called “Make America Awesome” is a corny-sounding spoof of Donald Trump’s slogan (stolen from Reagan, by the way) “Make America Great Again.” It feature a nude picture of Trump’s wife, Melania, lying on a mink rug (hello, PETA?). The picture is contemporarily tasteful for GQ, and I have no qualms about it in that sense.

The ad was ostensibly supposed to repel Mormon voters from Donald Trump. It may have worked to a small degree, though I believe the vast majority of Utah voters have other issues with Mssr. Trump. But the first thing that made me suspicious, as any rational constitutional conservative, is the message on the ad: MEET MELANIA TRUMP. YOUR NEXT FIRST LADY. OR, YOU COULD SUPPORT TED CRUZ ON TUESDAY.

Just like clockwork, Trump reacted and started the entire sequence of events in which he accused Cruz of putting out the ad, and you know the rest of the sordid story. But back to “Make America Awesome.”

For the record: I believe that “Make America Awesome” is a “TrollPAC” which is used strictly to denigrate.

First up: Who is Chris Marston? From LinkedIn (Note: Free LinkedIn membership required to view profiles):

A political consulting company, offering general consulting, campaign finance compliance, and other campaign support services. From his website:

Election CFO provides a full-range of campaign finance services, providing only the services you need. We recognize every organization is different and customize our offerings accordingly. You only pay for the services you use.

From straight compliance reviews and response to FEC inquiries to managing the full range of banking services – merchant accounts, website credit card acceptance, remote deposit, debit cards – to budget development and monitoring, Election CFO is ready to help.

His life experience? He ran for clerk of Alexandria County (unsuccessfully), he clerked for Rob Portman in congress, and he’s done a lot of consultin’ for the Establishment. As such, he’s an INTEGRAL part of K Street…not exactly a Ted Cruz supporter.

Now for the donors. There were only six listed donors who gave over $200 who account for only $2,000 collectively, or less than 10% of the entire $20,752 raised to date. I can list five of the donors’ here.

First on the list, $500 donor Ann Sheffer. Her pedigree? She is a philanthropist of the Arts, who once worked for Bill Clinton. From The Westport News:

Sheffer has been a lead advocate for arts funding on the local, state, and national levels, according to Kristin Briner, Westport Arts Center board member, and co-chairwoman of the 2014 gala. Sheffer served on the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities under President Bill Clinton and was instrumental in the creation of the Westport Arts Advisory Committee. She currently serves on the Connecticut Advisory Committee for Culture and the Westport Country Playhouse board of trustees.

We know these guys aren’t doing Cruz any favors.

This is more like operation chaos. Stir the mud. Sort of like the typical debate forum all this year.

Any proof of that?

First of all, the people who donate aren’t the ones who create the ads and run the PAC.

Secondly, Cruz brought all this mess on himself. Is it really THAT hard to just pop onto TV and say “I don’t approve of these type of ads and I don’t want people doing them in my name or putting my name on anything like this.”?

I don’t think it is. But oily lawyer Raphael can never do that. He goes on TV, says “I didn’t have anything to do with it, and by the way, Donald Trump Donald Trump Donald Trump Donald Trump Donald Trump Donald Trump!!” As usual, Cruz stayed quiet until the damage was done, and then popped up to blame Trump for all the ills that face the world.

Funny I didn't hear cruz complaining when they ran ads using nude photos of Trump's wife. Photos that the cruz campaign provided, I might add.

What is the point?

The dirty tricks, the lies, the "rat copulation",
like the SECRET ObamaTRADE support for Heidi Goldman,
is NOT Mr. Trump's fault.

And what about the $500,000 BRIBE?

Is that Mr. Trump's fault, too?

Hasn’t GQ said that it was Cruz’ campaign manager who bought the Melania Trump picture from them for the ad?

According to GQ, Jeff Roe, Cruz’s version of Valerie Jarrett, placed the order for the pic and then handed off to Liz Mair.

That was proven false. It was a tweet that was sent out and people ran with it thinking it was true.

From the beginning, I thought this was an operation to cause all out civil war in the GOP.

According to GQ, eh? You read this on GQ's website? In a newspaper? Heard someone from GQ say it on TV or radio? Please point us to a credible source for this little factoid. And, no, an anonymous tweet or some assertion to that effect by a fellow FReeper doesn't count.

The suppositions begin in the first sentence, presented as facts. Typical Cruzlim bs.

The attempts by the Cruz campaign to deflect from Ted’s issues aren’t working.
