If Western countries were ever in denial about their citizens going abroad to fight alongside the Islamic State, as the old saying goes, “The devil is in the detail.”
Details- lots and lots of personal details of at least 22,000 ISIS recruits who have joined the terror organization in Syria and Iraq from 51 countries including the U.S., have been leaked in a series of documents.
The information, including extremists’ names, dates of birth, citizenship, phone numbers, addresses and even blood types, comes from forms that serve as admission applications foreign fighters are obligated to fill out before they are accepted.

I’d like to see the demographics, estimates of where all those guys are from have been made but I’d like to see how accurate the figures are.

the sad thing is even if Europe or USA knows for sure who is among ISIS, they’ll be sure to let them back into their countries.
If I were ISIS I would create a list of young Muslim men who are not yet radicalized... maybe salted with a few radicals already known to the west.
Then leak that list as if it were not intended to be leaked. Western agents would then follow and harass those Muslims not yet radicalized and cause them to get radicalized.

Somehow, I think, it would not look so good if the names were cross-referenced w/ the ‘vetting’ of refugees/asylum seekers/dreamers/etc.
