Let's give the penguins a little credit.
The news reported around the world was startling â that some 150,000 Adélie penguins have died in Antarctica because a colossal iceberg cut off their sea access.
But there's no proof yet that the birds are dead. No one has actually found 150,000 frozen penguins. In fact, experts think there's a less horrific explanation for the missing birds: When the fishing gets tough, penguins simply pick up and move.

Hmmmm. At an average of 30 kilos (66 lbs) each, that would translate to a skinned and dressed weight of roughly 15 kilos each.
That'd be roughly 5 million pounds of frozen penguin (dressed weight), just laying there in God's own deep freeze!
(I bet they taste like fish...)

Or to look at it another way. 150,000 dead penguins mean there are about a million fish who can live to swim another day. The lord giveth and he taketh away.

Imagine 150,000 penguins all singing in unison, "Nearer My God to Thee."

penguins have died in Antarctica because a colossal iceberg cut off their sea access.I guess global warming is a myth, otherwise all the ice bergs would have melted.

You might be thinking of emperor penguins; these are much smaller. I have heard that they do taste like fish.

That reminds me of the Sam Kinison bit about how starving people in the desert should move to where the food is.

These would only dress out to 4-6 lbs...That’s only 700,000 lbs or so.

There are 15,000 elk dead in Montana since the introduction of Canadian wolves to the Yellowstone Park area.
Not to mention untold numbers of moose, mountain goats and bighorn sheep.
But that’s okay because it was by bureaucrats playing God in the furtherance of radical environmentalism.
