Election 2016: Bernie Sanders won 60% of the vote in New Hampshire Tuesday yet will collect fewer delegates in the electoral college than distant-second finisher Hillary Clinton. This is just plain rigging. The Democratic Party had better reeducate itself about the word “democratic.” “Tonight, we served notice to the political and economic establishment of this country that the American people will not continue to accept a corrupt campaign finance system that is undermining democracy,” Sanders, an avowed socialist, told his supporters in his Tuesday night victory speech in New Hampshire.

They're not cheating, they're just redistributing Bernie's delegates. You know, doing socialism.

The delegates selected in the primary are obligated to vote for their candidate on the first ballot. The superdelegates are not legally obligated to vote for anyone. They may have said they will vote for HRC, but they could easily change their mind if they wished to do so.

The Democratic party knows their constituency well. They know they can openly run crooked elections and, while some folks may grumble, they will vote the right way in the general election. That is why it is called the plantation.

I get frustrated with factual errors. This delegate selection process has nothing to do with the electoral college. Does anybody fact check or have editors review things before they are published anymore???

I believe it was Joseph Stalin that said something like, “It is not who votes that count it is who counts the votes.” Looks like communism is going to bite the communists in the rear this time.

Bernie is not pining for a democracy, though I would like for him to lay out his vision of his desired structure of gov’t.

I will stay with our republic for of gov’t, assuming we stamp down the leftists.

I thought it was the democrat party, not democratic.

Some years ago, because members of the Republican Party are called Republicans, Rush started calling it the Democrat Party because its members are called Democrats and not Democratics. It's basically sort of a jab at the Donkey Party members..... JTPTO.

Reading ignorant crap like this makes me conclude that we have become a country of idiots. Delegates to the Democrat Convention have nothing whatsoever to do with the electoral college. Are the editors of IBD really that clueless.
