Real Clear Politics have Trump up by 18.4%

Has been coming to the Palmetto State for over a month

Overflowing Crowds everywhere.

Even Rush admitted he had over a mile long of cars to get in the ranch.

Very quickly this will become Bush vs. Trump. I know this is distressing to many Cruz fans here, but the sooner we coalesce around Trump the better chance we have of defeating Bush.

Frankly, this is what they SHOULD do.

At the convention, they should decertify all of Trump’s delegates, as well as all the delegates for other candidates besides Ted Cruz. Then, they should vote to nominate Ted Cruz.

1) brokered convention
2) ignore majority of voters
3) appoint the GOPe favorite
4) Hillary wins
5) GOPe celebrates (no Trump or Cruz)

I don’t think they can pull it off, but that’s the road map they are favoring.

I see a lot of coverage this AM trying to pump up Bush. There will be tremendous pressure on him to at least beat Rubio in SC. The pressure should produce some headscratching slips of the brain from Jeb.

My continued fear is that we wind up with a single GOPe candidate against a splint Trump and Cruz electorate. When it gets to winner take all states Teump could get 33%, Cruz 33% and the GOPe candidate 34% and the GOPe candidate takes home all the delegates. The quicker it gets down to Teump or Cruz the better but I do not see that happening before March 15 the date of the Texas primary. Ohio and Florida could both wind up in the delegate counts of the GOPe candidate and theoretically so could Texas. That would be a disaster.

I should point out that the reason Iowa is proportional and NH winner take all is to split up conservative Iowa and weigh heavily in favor of liberal (GOPe) NH. Thus the liberal wing of the GOP has greater influence during the early primaries ... by design.

Jeb will have to go guns a blazing against Rubio in the debate. That should be the final nail for Rubio if he finishes 3rd or 4th.

Trump, Cruz and Bush move on. The GOPe want only one est. candidate and it will now be Bush. At that point the odds switch, instead of many establishment candidates beating themselves up there will be only one which sets the stage for Cruz and Trump destroying each other to let Jeb! in.
