No need to worry about ISIS anymore. This weekend Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, announced that the US and our gallant allies are going to turn up the heat on the marauding murderers of the Middle East.
Listening to the Pentagon say that they’re going to get tough with ISIS is like one of those Ripley’s Believe It or Not questions.
Not!
After seeing the performance of the US Navy a couple of weeks ago in the Persian Gulf, I’m sure ISIS is quivering in fear.
This sudden bout of manliness from the Obama Administration and Ash and Trash Carter comes nearly a year after former State Department spokesperson, Marie Harf’s infamous idiocy, when she stated that if only the guys in ISIS could get jobs they would turn their swords into plowshares.
Harf stated, “We’re killing a lot of them and we’re going to keep killing more of them, so are the Egyptians, so are the Jordanians. They’re in this fight with us. But we cannot win this war by killing them, we cannot kill our way out of this war. We need, in the longer term, medium and longer term, to go after the root causes that lead people to join these groups, whether it’s lack of opportunity for jobs.â€
Marie, Marie, Marie…
ISIS has a job. Their job is to kill us.
Harf’s asinine statement last year will go down in US history as one of the stupidest comments made by a government official since former Washington, DC Mayor Marion Barry said, â€Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country.â€

Obviously, Harf’s comments rubbed a few people the wrong way. What Foggy Bottom needed for a spokesperson was someone who was adept at the DC art of plausible lying, someone who had convinced a distracted nation that two bombs a day, really does keep ISIS away. Enter Rear Admiral Kirby, and his Technicolor light show.
Since the New Year, ISIS has been busy. An ISIS maniac executed his mother after she told him to leave the evil paramilitary force. In Syria, ISIS beheaded nearly three hundred people two weeks ago and has just released two new videos today. The first threatens a terror attack in the UK. The second shows several of the Paris attackers committing atrocities in Syria.
ISIS doesn’t have to do too much recruiting work in Europe. It’s a lock. They’ve got a Fifth Column blooming in the land of cuckoo clocks and schnitzel. A melting pot of terror is entering the continent and making a beeline to Germany, courtesy of Angela Merkel, who’s shoving a giant overdose of sleeping pills down Germany’s throat in the form of over a million highly skilled Muslims entering the Fatherland by next year.
That’s highly skilled in the art of firing AK-47’s, detonating suicide vests, driving truck bombs, group rape and molestation, petty crimes and all the things that form the bedrock of a successful community.
Nighty-night Europe…
Here in the good old USA, our dear leader, El Presidente Obama can barely say the word terrorism, much less radical Islam, or ISIS. I used to think the complete denial of ISIS and radical Islam was a symptom of Obama Fool Syndrome, but denying the bad guys exist has been embraced by Criminal Clinton and Comrade Sanders as well. The only Democrat who acknowledges that radical Islam exists is Jimmy Webb, but as we all know, he’s not really a Democrat.
ISIS has been quiet since Paris and San Bernandino, which worries me. No doubt, the maestros of terror are planning something, probably what Ed Sullivan would have called, A Really Big Shoe.
And, that leads us back to Ash Carter’s tough talk this weekend.
Coming off the successful recapture of Ramadi, the Pentagon is confident that with one US air sortie a day and the Iraqi Army’s tactical prowess, Mosul will soon be taken.
Besides upping the efforts on intelligence collection, adding sparse amounts of Special Forces here and there and increasing our daily sortie number to above one, there really isn’t anything new here from Carter.
There’s no new strategy to fight ISIS. There’s no new US leadership. There’s no ground force led by the US. There’s no real air campaign. There’s nothing, but statements full of sound and fury that signify nothing.
Until a President Trump or Cruz is elected, not one thing will change in the fight against ISIS. We will continue to retreat, while ISIS continues to attack.
We will continue to retreat because Obama and Carter and Kerry and Marie Harf haven’t figured out one clear fact:
ISIS has one job and that is to kill us all.

There actually are two options, not just one. Kill us, or subjugate us.
If ISIS was to be defeated on the battlefield, they would scatter and plan attacks on us from the many Muslim ghettos around the world. Including the ones in this country.

Indirectly employed by the Obama administration with perks including free weapon drops and an Obamacare exemption.
A mother can't do that to a child and since this administration planted the seeds of ISIS and birthed it I don't see that happening. Mother will continue bailing Jr out of jail and feeding and funding it covertly as long as they can IMO.
We just need a great negotiator to cut a new deal with them!
