In July of 2008 Obam asaid he would be POTUS for "the next 8-10 years" (see http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/warner-todd-huston/2008/07/20/obama-ill-be-president-next-8-10-years ). That implies that something would happen to keep him POTUS for 2 years beyond his 2nd term. It would have to be some kind of cataclysmic emergency toward the end of his 2nd term.
Over his 2 terms Obama has made sure that our southern border is wide open, knowing that our Islamist enemies have targeted us through that hole. He has gotten rid of secular Middle East leaders who have support our anti-terrorist activities and replaced them with Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, etc. He has armed ISIS and God-only-knows who else through the loss of 20,000 Manpads in Libya. He is imporing Syrian "refugees" even though we know fake passports are being created by terrorists so they can enter the country. He has made sure that Iran has nuclear capabilities, which they have always said they would use to nuke the "Big Satan" (US) and "Little Satan" (Israel).
Now it is nearing the end of his last term. Our borders are wide open, our missile defense doesn't cover threats from the southern hemisphere, and Obama's regime "accidentally" sent a Hellfire missile to Cuba (southern hemisphere) and called Iran to tell them where they could pick up a couple of our well-equipped boats (and the sailors aboard them). North Korea has done a nuclear test which supports claims that they (and by extension Iran) have a nuke that could be used for an EMP attack from the southern hemisphere - which, again, is being left UNPROTECTED.
Obama planned something big at the end of his 2nd term, Obama's communist and Islamist buddies are able to attack at any time because nobody has taken seriously the BIGGEST Constitutional duty of the federal government (protecting this nation from invasion), and the dems don't seem very worried about either Trump or Cruz ever being POTUS, nor are they very concerned about Hillary possibly being in jail by election time and Sanders being a nutcase. Maybe they know how Obama intended to be POTUS for 8-10 years...
It seems to me that we are ripe for an EMP attack sometime between now and Jan 20, 2017. Below are some articles about the risks.
My question: how could we head this off at the pass? What can be done to actually protect this country from the Foreign Enemy Combatant-in-Chief, before he has time to have his proxies - the world Islamists and communists whose crimes allowed him to be installed as POTUS in the first place - attack us?
Military people, how can we defend this nation? What should Ted Cruz and Donald Trump be using their audiences to accomplish right now, to ensure that if an election takes place the President-elect will not be ousted by an Iranian EMP attack instead?

For somebody who is stupid, he’s done a PHENOMENAL job of “fundamentally transforming” this nation, and leaving us totally vulnerable for a newly-armed, greatly-infiltrating, seriously-jihadist world.
Whether it’s “just” stupidity or whether it’s deliberate action in service to the Islamists and communists who took our system hostage in 2008 so he would inhabit our White House, the effect is the same: We are in deep, deep doo-doo because our enemies are strong, armed, and serious, while our leaders pick their noses at best.

I don't like Obama any more than you, but the notion that he was planning on an "extra-Constitutional" stay of no more than two years is silly.
I guess we'll have to wait for January 2017 to answer that question.

Not happening. I don't believe there is any chance in the world of Obama seizing power for even a few minutes beyond noon, January 20, 2017. Obama will leave voluntarily and as scheduled. There are a hundred million armed Americans, most of whom despise Obama. Many of them are Secret Service agents. We don't have to worry about actual violence on either side because Obama is a big sissy who would never endanger his delicate snowflake self. Barack the First has no choice but to follow that one part of the Constitution he despises, and he knows it.

That's far more reasonable than thinking he would be planning on a two-year overthrow of the government, and that he would then let it slip in some interview.
Obama is going to be in Cuba and South America yukking it up with his communist/terrorist buddies in November and December. If an EMP hits here he’ll be fine. Look for a Thanksgiving vacation where the girls (and maybe Michelle) are down in South America with him. Or they’d probably be OK even if they were in DC now that they’ve got a nice bunker under the White House with medical supplies to last them years.
If you looked in one of the links I posted you’ll see that we’ve got military supplies/command in CO where it’s naturally protected from EMP effects. So Obama would have his military to enforce martial law. If the hit was in eastern US there would be large cities with no power and there would be chaos. In that scenario whoever has the physical power to subdue everybody else would be the ruler. And Obama would have his military yes-men (since everybody else has been purged from the leadership) to do whatever he wanted.

There’s actually a lot that he (and/or his people) have “let slip” - including an obviously-forged birth certificate and selective service registration. They didn’t have to worry about any of it because they had already threatened the media heads with something so extreme that the media heads told their on-air personalities that if they or anybody on their shows addressed Obama’s ineligibility issue and/or his Muslim leanings, they would lose their career and (implied) possibly their lives or their loved ones’ lives. That threat was made twice, the first being in October of 2008 .
Hitler’s propaganda minister said that people would believe a big lie before they would believe a little one - and he ought to know, he hid the extermination of millions of “undesireables” from the German people and the world. Nobody believed that the whole government would go along with such a thing. But they did, and those who resisted were killed. Which is what Obama’s Columbia University buddies talked about when they discussed taking over America and handing it over to Cuba, VietNam, etc. They talked about sending people to “re-education” camps but estimated there would still be 15 million people who would have to be exterminated because they wouldn’t accept communism.
One of those Columbia University professors who was big with the Bill Ayers type people was Francis Fox Piven. She, together with her husband, Richard Cloward, wrote up a plan to destroy America through “The Strategy of Manufactured Crisis”. The plan had 2 big legal planks: corrupting elections through the Motor Voter Law combined with illegal immigration, and corrupt the financial system by using discrimination charges to force subprime lending. Piven co-founded The New Party, in which communists would work to take over the democrat party. A signed member of The New Party was Barack Hussein Obama, and the only things he did with his Harvard law degree (funded by Islamist Prince Alwaleed with logistics from Bill Ayers’ communist parents who told the mailman that Obama was a foreign student they were aiding) were.... drumroll.... to file suit making the Motor Voter Act apply to states and their elections and not just to federal entities, and harass banks into subprime lending, which ultimately so weakened our economy that we were ripe for the electronic run on the bank on 9-11-08. Our Middle East intel was saying that financial terrorist attack was imminent at that time, and George Soros allegedly had asked both Hillary and Obama if they were on-board with his plan to destroy the US economy.
IOW, Obama has always been in the groups that have sworn to destroy America from within, by sneaking into important office somebody who would do their plans.

Before Obama had him killed, Ghadaffi gave a speech saying he hoped that Obama would remember his (Obama’s) Muslim faith and the world Muslims who put him into power through their “legal” contributions. And indeed, most of Obama’s contributions were from world Muslims, but the only way they could claim to be legal is because Obama DISABLED the verification process for online contributions.
There is way, way too much for me to be able to cover in this message, but everything Obama has done has benefitted either the Islamists or communists, and/or made America more vulnerable to attacks by them.
When the world finally sees just how much crap this regime has pulled on us - and how easily the society was duped by our Baghdad Bob “press”, they will weep. Obama’s handlers are DANGEROUS.
Obama has given Iran everything necessary to hit us, and has made sure that we have no ability to stop it.
