US Defense Watch has obtained new information concerning special training for female soldiers in preparation for attendance to the US Armyâs Ranger School.
In the Fall of 2014, a group of female soldiers were given three months of training to specifically prepare them for Ranger School. The female soldiers were pulled away from their regular duties in the Army to eat, breathe and sleep Ranger School for ninety days. One of the female soldiers who attended the training, was First Lieutenant Shaye Haver, who, along with Captain Kristen Griest, became the first two women to ever graduate from Ranger School, the US Armyâs toughest training.
Yet, the Armyâs senior leaders, from Secretary John McHugh, down to General Martin Dempsey, Major-General Scott Miller, commander of Fort Benning and Colonel David Fivecoat, commander of the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade repeatedly denied that women were given any type of special treatment or advance preparation for Ranger School.
In addition, First Lieutenant Haver consistently failed land navigation during various assessments conducted at Fort Carson. Yet, Haver was sent to Fort Benning to attend Ranger School. Even more frightening is the fact that not one female soldier in the assessment group of roughly fifty soldiers passed land navigation. It is not known if other female soldiers were sent to Fort Benning from this group.
Sources also informed US Defense Watch that First Lieutenant Haver failed land navigation at the Ranger Training Assessment Course, a 16 day evaluation soldiers must pass before being allowed to start the school itself.
Haver graduated from Ranger School in August of 2015 after having been recycled twice and having to restart the whole course on one occasion. Did Haver also fail land navigation repeatedly at Ranger School? Undoubtedly, this would appear in her records, which were shredded by the Army. But, her Green Card, a Ranger School transcript of her progress wasnât. Surely, Haverâs land navigation scores are noted on her Green Card.
Yet, the Army refuses to send Congressman Steve Russell and the House Armed Services Committee the Green Cards for Haver, Griest and Major Lisa Jaster, the 37 year old woman who graduated from the school as well. As of now, the only thing Congressman Russell has received from the Army is some concocted mini white paper showing that men and women are performing the same at Fort Benning and that women are meeting the standards.
Standards?
More like double standards.
US Defense Watch has also learned that Major Jaster was recycled three times at Ranger School and failed all three phases and had to repeat them. Normally, candidates are only allowed two recycles before they are returned to their units.
As USDW has indicated on numerous occasions, it is highly probable that a cover up is underway in the Army to placate a political agenda from the White House. The Obama administration wants women in combat, even if it means double standards, lies, cover ups and more importantly a threat to the nationâs national security.
Apparently, Secretary of Defense Ash Carter made much of his decision to authorize women in combat from the apparent performance of females at Ranger School. His decision was obviously predicated on lies perpetrated from the Army.
The fact that First Lieutenant Haver failed land navigation, but was sent to Ranger School is a disgrace and frankly a danger to the very soldiers she would lead in combat. A Ranger who canât read a map and use a compass is about as useful as a chef who canât cook.
It is more than apparent that the Army has been lying to the nation it has sworn to defend.
It is more than apparent that the Army is putting us all in danger by allowing unqualified individuals to pass Ranger School.
It is more than apparent that the Armyâs senior leaders are thinking more about their own careers than about the troops and the country they serve.
It is more than apparent that this story will not go away until the senior leaders of the Army testify before the House Armed Services Committee concerning the Armyâs continual obfuscation and suppression of vital records; records vital to our national security.
Contact Senator John McCain or Congressman Mac Thornberry and ask them to investigate this matter.
look bammy the boy is incompetent and a total dysfunctional princess but does the nation care?...not one iota....so why should they care about the Rangers....

One more year and Cruz/ Trump can start righting the stinking Obama/Jarrett agenda.
What makes you think Obama will leave office?
Because Hussein knows if he refuses to leave he will be draggedvfrom the White House, then tarred & feathered.
BFL
I”m sorry, let me back up. Quite a few of us here on America” premiere conservative website” would urge that he be frogmarched to a pot of tar but many more here would urge that we be patient and see if he left on his own after a few more years, and would counsel that we not do anything imprudent, and all the usual cozening, cowardly nonsense we’ve been seeing here as of late. So you’re probably right. Why should he leave?
Some freepers here were so stupidly PC over this
You know who you are
Go home girls. The military is no place for you.
This is nothing new. When I went to OTS way back in 1985, we had a female in our flight who failed the fitness test three times. The rule was if you failed three times, you were out. But she was given a fourth try, the same day after not even coming close to passing in the morning, in private, with only our instructor and another instructor present. They all came back after lunch with the great news and we were all forced to applause. So much for the Honor Code. It was all BS. We will pay a heavy price in our society for such fundamental dishonesty.
I thought it was going to be physical requirements that the women could not pass....I never thought that it would be a mental skill that the women could not pass.... this is real scary and makes me wonder if this woman got to her position through family political connections not her own achievement. I would love to see her paper work om everything she has done the last 15 years because I bet this is not the first military school that she has been shepherded through.
How often do we hear about how men "have to suck it up and ask for directions"?
When they go in harms way we will see the folly of this. The only question is how many have to die before the policy is reversed.
We’ve paid the price; we’ve lost two wars, and our birthrate is practically 0.
Good point! GPS is a lady’s friend...
