Obama is already the greatest gun salesman in American history, and you ain't seen nothing yet.

Now he's going to come after law-abiding gun owners, and if you don't believe this is the plan, then why was it announced yesterday -- on a holiday, New Year's Day?

If you don't have a gun permit, get one. If you don't own a firearm, buy one -- now! Stock up on ammo, too. Join the NRA. What this is about is very simple -- Obama is coming after our guns 
because he and his ilk don't want us to be able to defend ourselves.

"I directed my team at the White House," he said yesterday "to look into any new actions I can take to help reduce gun violence."

Here's my suggestion: Enforce the bleeping federal laws that are already on the books. In 2004, under George W. Bush, the feds prosecuted 8,752 federal gun-violation cases. In 2013, under this gun-grab administration, the feds prosecuted 5,082 cases -- a decline of 42 percent.

Obama, Holder, Lynch et al. have zero interest in enforcing the existing gun statutes because they're violated in large measure by illegal aliens, gangbangers, drive - by shooters, street muggers and fifth-generation welfare layabouts - in other words, the core constituencies of the Democratic Party. Do any of these Obama voters get their weapons at gun shows? If you've ever been to a gun show, you damn well know the answer to that question.

I was collecting guns prior to 1994 when the AWB was enacted, but when it elapsed after 10 years, the aftermath and opportunity was not lost on me. Fool me once, but never twice.

We will soon be approaching another AWB of sorts that will be more expansive in nature - and it will be brought to you by your own Senators and Congressmen and whatever President is elected (except maybe Cruz, frankly).

I am not a gun person so I will ask my Freeper gunners this question.

A couple of days ago a friend told me he bought his wife a hand gun , the caliber was 22 something.
He said when he went to buy ammunition for it, there was a shortage of that particular ammo because our Govt. had bought up so many rounds of that 22 caliber ammo.

Anyone have any experience like that? - Tom

Obama’s actions have resulted in about 100,000,000 gun sales since he was in office. This year as of September this year there have been about 20,000,000 guns sold. If there were about $1,000 spent for each of these gun sales for accessories and ammunition that makes $100,000,000,000 ($100B) in votes against our imperial leader and his puppeteers.

22LR is perhaps the most scarce ammo around....has been for about 4 or 5 years. It is being hoarded, frankly, and manufacturing can’t keep up enough to flood the market.

Five years ago you'd have never read anything like this from a nationally syndicated talk show host. Just like five year ago you would have never heard Rush Limbaugh criticizing our immigration policy.

Anyone with a brain stocked up a long time ago. Those with half a brain are just figuring out that the one-worlders are going for it. The Second Amendment is the greatest obstacle to their plans to subjugate the populace and establish themselves as an elite ruling class in perpetuity. They WILL go after it at some point.

.22 Long Rifle has been snapped up almost as soon as it hits the shelf for a few years now. That’s probably what your friend is referring to.

The Feds have been buying .223 (completely different caliber) a couple million rounds at a time. Almost makes you think they’re getting ready for something.

Same here. Back in the late 1980s SHOTGUN NEWS had lots of good foreign military style “assault” rifles for sale, till George Bush Sr. banned the import of them.

I had the money but was caught blindsided with his ban.
Now I don’t have the money but they are not imported now.

I would bet you have compared what you paid for those necessities back then and over the non Obama years with what they are worth today.

The way things are going, ammunition is as good as cash too.

And don’t merely stock up. Fire for familiarization, seek out and put into practice the additional survival skills, have your SHTF bag packed and ready to go, and make sure of those companions who are going to be in this little “adventure” with you.

War may be hell. But don’t let it be simply a deferred death sentence for yourself, all wars are meaningless unless you have achieved some longer range objective after the shooting stops. Like surviving.
