What refugees cost for a family of five: But what about our own people?

For the same money, we could help a hundred times as many refugees in existing camps

Do refuges get more than our own people in need? Yes! Some are in hotels and getting $61 per day for food. But someone on welfare in Ontario gets just $10 per day to cover food, clothing and everything except accommodation. And tens of thousands of Aboriginal children live in conditions like what refugees are leaving, in remote settlements under boil-water advisory.

Without even considering the immense relocation costs, for 25,000 refugees here’s a pro forma for the annual ongoing costs for a family with three children of school age moving to Ontario:

I could care less what they are doing in Canada. What I care about is the United States and what we are paying. Canada has more money to spend then we do because their military is much smaller. We don’t have a lot of discretionary income so it’s best they take them.

that works out to almost $1900 per month- many people I n the states who get minimum SSD or SS get $800 per month- many of our seniors, disabled and veterans, our most vulnerable and needy citizens, get $800 while healthy young working age refugees get nearly $1900 a month handed to them free and clear- and that is JUST for their food- they also get housing, free medical and perhaps many government handouts to boot-

You can bet refugees will never have to make the tough decision to either choose heating oil or enough food for the month! Heck no- these healthy working class refugees will be sitting In a nice cozy government paid for housing complex yucking it up and laughing at the US because we take such poor care of our nation’s citizens in need-

This country spends anywhere between $400 BILLION and $600 BILLION on Illegals- Every single year- this factors in ALL the costs associated with illegals, welfare, SS, Medicaid, government programs , costs of crimes, victim’s lawsuits, prison housing etc-

Refugees on the other hand are guaranteed SS for life- housing, medical education on and on it goes- and I’m betting the refugees get max or near max SS

They are not qualified for SS because they won’t have 40 quarters. Those are the rules. In fact, some wives end up with a very small SS check due to not having enough quarters and having 0 year after year on their income makes for a very small check. Refugees would have 0 after 0 after 0 which equals 0. They are pretty much screwed unless they are young and some miracle get citizenship and get their 40 quarters in.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say getting 1900 dollars a month is necessarily comfy. Even with housing and medical, you still have to have a car, electricity and heating, water, it leaves very little at the end of the month.

I’m pretty sure I heard they were automatically given it for life-

Here’s an older site talking about all the benefits refugees get

http://www.visaus.com/benefits.html

But I do believe I read on FR a week or so ago refugees were guaranteed SS- not just SSI- Even if it’s just SSI- it is costing us major dollars when these large families come here and milk the system getting everything they can when they are young healthy people capable of working to support themselves-

Refugees and asylum-seekers, like the Tzarnaevs are also fast-tracked for citizenship.
