I do most of my internet use on my iPad. Often, particularly on Facebook, if I'm trying to view a video, my screen will go black right when I get to the meat of the video. This just happened now when I was trying to watch Santorum's comments on The Morning Joe. I notice this happens often to videos linked through The Blaze. In order to watch the enitre thing, I need to search through Facebook again, hope I can find it, and that it won't crash again. Is anyone else experiencing this? Could it be a function of a too full iPad? Or do some web pages do this intentionally in order to get more visits?
How many applications are open at once on your iPad?
What’s an ipad?
Upgrade to Windows.
I’m not on Facebook, so have never viewed a video through Facebook. Howevefr, I do watch videos and I’ve never had a problem viewing videos on our iPad.
Firefox or Safari?
I’ve had a lot of trouble with videos when using the mobile version of Firefox.
PING.....iOS problem.
I try to remember to close the apps frequently. This last time I probably had 4 apps open.
check your internet connection
we got a new wi fi router which resolved similar problem
It’s not your device. It’s the website, bad programming. It happens with other devices as well, other than iPads.
It sounds like a bandwidth problem to me too. We experience it, particularly when someone is watching netflix via wireless and you try to use another wireless device at the same time. I also suspect a cable delivery slowdown when too many neighbors are online on the cable (I'm last on the line with comcast.)
I've seen that, with Wave (not just Comcast). They bundle six neighbors together on one line at a neighborhood junction box, and one or more neighbors can hog much of the bandwidth depriving the others.
But in this case, I think it's the website. Too many graphics and promotional ads going on, choking the bandwidth at their end, particularly if thousands of people are hitting it at the same time. It isn't always at your end. When I go to a bad website that chokes, I say forget it, particularly if my end is fast.

iPad? Isn’t that made by a commie company, apple or something?
My iPad crashes out of Facebook all the time when I’m accessing using Safari, and i have lots of memory. I think it might be related to another posting coming to my facebook screen while I’m scrolling through the posts, and my memory gets full. But I have no evidence of that.
I will work on some of these after I finish sewing these two pillows. Thanks!
That could be. It makes me want to avoid The Blaze entirely. It’s very agrivating and a huge waste of time.
It would not hurt to clear the cache files and cookies from whatever browser that you are using. It may not help, but it sure won’t hurt.
Thanks for posting these links on iPad clean up.
