It appears that when those black lives happen to be in Angola, their lives matter less than a paycheck from a dictator.

I don't think this is as inconsistent as it appears. People like Minaj and her handlers seem to genuinely believe that black people are better off under the absolute rule of a dictator. Their financial and personal support for the advancement of dictatorship in the United States, particularly for black-majority areas, is evidence of this.

Thus, a paycheck from the government of Angola is no different from a paycheck from the city of Chicago or the Democrat National Convention.

Know your audience. Tweet #BlackLivesMatter and sell more albums. Make a public trip to Africa and sell more albums. How many of her fans could point out Angola on a map? How many really care about African lives?
