Don't bet on that Salman.
F. William Engdahl is strategic risk consultant and lecturer, he holds a degree in politics from Princeton University and is a best-selling author on oil and geopolitics, exclusively for the online magazine "New Eastern Outlook".
How much is he paid in rubles?
Syria is not a major oil producer, and S.A.s biggest competitor in the world oil market is Russia. Shutting down U.S. fracking is just gravy.
William Engdahl is one of my favorite writers, especially on geo-politics. He wrote a great book called “A Hundred Years of War” on how all the wars since (and including WW1) were over oil.
He used to be a sought after oil consultant and he was told by the head of OPEC in the 70s that oil is abiotic. It’s created in the mantle, and very little is created from fossils. In addition to Saudi Arabia interfering in our Presidential election, they are crashing oil prices to put US shale oil companies out of business. And now they are trying to get us into a major war in the ME in order for them to take over Iran (imo).
I’m going to check out this Engdahl’s credentials, Engdahl like Bergdahl, and sounds like he said Israel is helping support ISIS.

Which firmly puts this guy in nutball territory, oh, yeah, Syria’s duly elected president, a family dynasty and oh, year, the war is going successfully, that is why Iran is drawing down troops there.
There is a streak of anti-semitism in a lot of Putinistas.
