Don't laugh: The Jeb Bush victory scenario
washingtonexaminer ^ | Nov. 5, 2015 | Byron York

The conventional wisdom that Jeb Bush is dead has become so unanimous it's only natural to suspect it's wrong.

Yes, the polls are atrocious. Bush, now seeking traction with a New Hampshire tour, is at four percent in the latest Fox News national survey and a weak fifth in the RealClearPolitics average of polls. The trend, for the moment, seems to be down, down, down.

Yet there is a not-crazy scenario in which Bush could rise again, not to dominate the race but to be in the running when the four candidates ahead of him self-destruct, kill each other, or run out of gas.

JebWorld held a focus group in New Hampshire the day after Bush's disastrous performance at the Republican debate in Boulder. According to a source deep inside JebWorld, the result was not only not terrible, it pointed to five areas of promise for Bush:

The bottom line: Conventional wisdom says it's already over -- just Google "Jeb Bush" and "death watch" -- but conventional wisdom can always change.

And remember, we the voters in the primary don't necessarily pick the candidate, the delegates and super delegates at the convention do.

Despite Jeb's poor performance and lack of....well, just about everything conservative, don't think the GOPe won't still try to push him through at the Convention.

Unfortunately, there are 2 words that could help the Jebster:

OPEN PRIMARIES.

There's no doubt that the 'Rats will attempt to pull an 'Operation Chaos' on the GOP in open primary states, now that the Hildabeast is headed towards a coronation. And Jeb is this year's 'glass jaw' candidate.

JebWorld?

I don't know who coined that, but plugging it into a search engine gives interesting results.

-- ... remember, we the voters in the primary don't necessarily pick the candidate, the delegates and super delegates at the convention do. --

Yep. The appearance of free elections is used to fool the public that it's self-governing, and to provide the government a fictitious reason for its own legitimacy.

"The bottom line: Conventional wisdom says it's already over -- just Google "Jeb Bush" and "death watch" -- but conventional wisdom can always change."

We can really hope it is over, but: Juan McCain's campaign was given up for dead in early 2008.

Byron York is so out of his depth this election cycle he has just lost it. Things just are not going the GOPe way and he can’t stop it.

Apparently the Washington Examiner doesn’t believe the republican base when they state unequivocally that Yeb is simply far below acceptable - because he actively scorns the republican base.

If, somehow, El Heb gets the nomination, no amount of “party uber alles” scorning here or anywhere will get me to pull the lever for him. Even should he select an actual conservative running mate. Eff the GOPe.

There is indeed a path to victory for Jeb: in spite of coming in 5th in just about every state, the RNC pushes delegates at the convention to nominate him anyway. The Superdelegates will be vetted by the Party to ensure that they only support establishment candidates, ideally Jeb.

2015-11-04 : Political Prediction

Yeb Bush will "intelligently" REFUSE to exit the 2016 GOP Presidential Race until he is DEFEATED in the 2016 March 15 Florida Primary.

Period.

Why ?

Yeb Bush's political "ace in the hole" is the hopelessly corrupt Florida Republican Party ... the ones who redistricted the great Allen West out-of-office.

"Anything" can happen in a "New York Minute" in American politics.

Just ask Machiavelli, Abraham Lincoln, JFK, Bobby Kennedy, Vince Foster, Gary Hart, Buddy Holly, U.S. Senators Hale Boggs, Ted Stevens, and Paul Wellstone, Herman Cain ...

and Napoleon at Waterloo (who was winning the battle, and Wellington admitting defeat, as late as 5:00 PM in the afternoon).

Ninety-eight (98) GOP Convention delegates are at stake in Florida's "mas mucho rigged" state Presidential Primary (Winner take All).

That makes it more convenient for Yeb's GOPe Chamber of Commerce Political Whores (aka the Florida Republican Party) to hand Yeb 98 convention delegates on a silver platter.

Yeb Bush has absolutely NOTHING to lose by staying in the presidential race (anything can happen).

Is it a longshot ? Absolutely.

Has Karl Rove already planned for this scenario ? Absolutely.

Will Dr. Ben Carson endorse Yeb Bush when the good doctor is "finished" ? Absolutely.

As a romantic interest once told me ... "It's All About the Money" ... perfectly applicable to Yeb Bush, Ben Carson, and Karl Rove.
