Having watched the dashcam video of the Bland incident, there is no way the officers could tell the race of the person they stopped to warn. She was covered from head to toe, with the hood of a hoodie up over her hair and the arms pulled down over her hands! Only her shape would tell them they were going to be talking to a woman.
Bland is desperately trying to make a mountain out of an ant hill.
And flapping her arms like she was trying to fly.
“From the other videos that have surfaced, it seems she was the one who pushed herself and her chair backwards,”
That’s what I saw also. It looked like the cop tried to lift her from the desk and her reaction thrust the desk backwards.
Makes one popular I suppose but not good for the owner when he has to buy more ice cream and has no receipts to buy it.
I guess that's where soetoro got his redistributive theory of governing.
You don’t even need to behave, you just need to be civil.
Any dealing with a cop is a professional meeting, no more, no less. You want to be on your way, the cop wants to be on theirs. If there are disagreements, there are ways to get them settled, usually involving a lawyer. Keep it quick, and civil, and be on your way.
And..... The time to settle disagreements is never at the side of the road, with a heavily armed police officer, loudly, at midnight, after you’ve had a couple pops at the local watering hole. No matter how right you might think you are. :-)
What the story left out is she had just hit the officer in the face a couple of times with her fist. The officer had every right to give her a right hook or use a taser on her. He elected to try and subdue her just using his hands. The desk was turned over in the struggle. She was very lucky the officer chose not to subdue her with blows from his fist or a taser.
Note: The moment she struck the officer she committed a felony. Why is she not being prosecuted?
Like my opening comments mentioned.
Because she is a protected class now under this criminal regime.
And the innocent cop is out of a job.
