When Donald Trump announced his bid for president, most Republicans laughed off his candidacy. When he began topping national polls, these skeptics urged patience; after Labor Day, their thinking went, the businessmans campaign would collapse under the weight of his ego and bombast.
Now, after 100 days with Trump atop national and state polls, and with no indication that he is going away, the rest of the GOP field and party officials face a new, stark reality: Trump might win, and Republicans have no plan to take him out.

latest tactic.
SURE they don’t. I guess it depends on your meaning of the phrase “HAVE A Plan”, implying they are still working on it, or the one word itself, “Plan”, sometimes used to mean “Goal”.
They have no plan to tell you their plan.
Flawless logic. No other conclusion.
The absolute worse thing that is that the GOP has no plan, and never has any plan, to take down Obama. They have all kinds of plans to elevate Jeb and Hillary to replace Obama and promote his scheme to take down America.
GO TRUMP!
If they plan to shoot him down, they better use rubber bullets because they will be coming right back at them.
Does the GOP have a plan for anything except for how to surrender to the Democrats?
The GOPe doesn’t give a damn if he wins the nomination. What they’re upset about is that he won’t lose to Hillary.
Is that so, well the donor class, cheap labor, Chamber of Commerce and Club for Growth are certainly gonna be pissed that their money bought them nothing.
".....????..I'm so so happy to know that...really....see how happy you have made me?....sincerry"
A bunch of negative "news articles" trash taking him. Classical Rove tactics. Rumor, Innuendo and hearsay reported as fact.
Then when they are done with Trump, they will go to Carson then Cruz. They will keep Conservatives busy fighting among themselves until one of their chosen ones can win the nomination with with 33% of the vote. Worked in 2008, worked in 2012 and starting to look like it is working now.
I So agree with you!!!
Yes. They have a plan to attack any conservative Congressman or Senator that may pop up and actually try to keep a campaign promise.
They could tell you their plan, but then they’d have to shoot you.
That’s funny! But not far off. Trump is the one combination the GOP never dreamed of having to deal with: a candidate who didn’t care what they think and didn’t need their money.
BS.
“A bunch of negative “news articles” trash taking him. Classical Rove tactics. Rumor, Innuendo and hearsay reported as fact.”
Exactly correct. Below is an example from the article. It was Bush who lied. Trump gave the correct answer. It was analysed on the spot, and it was clear that Bush was wrong and Trump was correct.
This article twists the facts to make Trump look to be wrong. As I recall Bush said Trump lobbied his (Bush’s) administration in Florida. Trump had lobbied the previous administration.
“During the second Republican debate last month, Bush caught Trump in a lie about having lobbied for casino gambling in Florida, which Trump denied. More recently, the two men have clashed over whether President George W. Bush bore responsibility for the 9/11 terrorist attacks, with Bush releasing a Web video accusing Trump of foreign policy naivete.”
Craziness piled upon craziness!
