Being white, but doing it right

I ran across this den of liberal idiocy on a link from somewhere. Because I (currently) live in an area where the majority of the population thinks and acts like this, I thought I would share it for both a little fun and some thoughtful conversation.

For starters: who in the world could dream up a name like "Gaia's Dancing Indigo Children"?

"This needs to be experienced by all of the descendants of colonists
in America. You people are the reason for the injustice in our society
and you have a moral duty to atone for the misdeeds of your ancestors
and the institutionalized white supremacist power structures you continue to maintain.

The link is dead, probably deleted out of embarrassment! Someone caught it though, try this:

http://blog.joehuffman.org/2015/06/14/quote-of-the-daygaias-dancing-indigo-children/

What a name! I don’t even know what they are implying? What’s an indigo child anyhow?

Scratch that, I don’t want to know.

If this is remotely real, these people should just kill themselves.

It is a child who has been dipped in ink!

Which is child abuse, btw.

Particularly considering that the two most viable alternatives for their ancestors were (1)ending up dead at the hands of their slave traders/captors or (2)being sold to a far less benevolent destination than the U.S. of America.

Yes, there was a third, but unlikely alternative: they might have evaded capture or escaped. Then, their descendants would now be living in some dysfunctional African country. Pick one of the three and see how many takers.

Another way to interpret the stats is that people who are at high risk of being shot, are likely to possess a gun. And if those people are gang bangers, they are more likely to be careless with their guns.

You notice there's no source listed for the 43% stat?

Bogus, they might as well have said 96.4%

From Wikipedia

The term “indigo children” originated with
parapsychologist and self-described
synesthete and psychic Nancy Ann Tappe, who developed the concept in the 1970s. Tappe published the book Understanding Your Life Through Color in 1982 describing the concept, [6] stating that during the mid-1960s she began noticing that many children were being born with “indigo “ auras
[7][8] (in other publications Tappe said the color indigo came from the “life colors” of the children which she acquired through her synesthesia [9] ). The idea was later popularized by the 1998 book The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived, written by husband and wife self-help lecturers Lee Carroll and Jan Tober.

The notion is that the children are an evolutionary step up, having special abilities and/or sensibilities.

“Gaia’s Dancing Indigo Children”

Maybe deeply colored Smurfs who suffered over exposure to the sun? Or perhaps Na’vi people? The Na’vi are an indigenous species that live on Pandora, one of the few sources in the Universe of the mineral unobtanium, a room-temperature superconductor.

It’s basically a term that liberal parents of autistic/Aspergers/ADD kids, or most often, parents that just refuse to impart discipline, use to avoid the fact their kid has a mental difficulty or their liberal parenting and philosophy failed miserably.
