If any of us had shot someone and left the scene, they’d be in jail.
He should be too, and he should lose his job over this.
I also tend to support LEO’s but this guy simply cannot be trusted with a gun and to make wise and professional decisions.
His callous attitude makes him a threat to the people he’s supposed to protect and serve.
On a good note today, this afternoon, I saw a billboard that showed a police badge and the caption “Blue Lives Matter”.
Loved the dig.
I like your take on forgiveness.
Well, they do have a tough job.
And it doesn’t negate a prayer that the offender might accept the saving embrace of God and be forgiven of his sin (which is a common sentiment for the martyrs). In this context, it’s now up to the offender what to do. (Destiny and choice, and how God can weave both into a whole where both have solid meanings, are beyond my ken. They are also beyond the Psalmist’s ken, if that is any consolation.)
Ah, they have a right to be bemused and wander off when they’ve done something stupid/unfortunate. They’re not responsible for anything.
For what it’s worth. If you really want to rant where it will count, then go to the Facebook page. Keep the shame where it belongs, with the culpable official and with the other Keystone Kops who acted so imperiously at the scene.
And your point is?
Are you going to interview the dog, or the gun?
The more knowledge the better.
What’s your problem?
I trust the /s was to be understood............
Note that even *after* his young mistress was shot, the dog did *not* attack the officer.
Conclusion: the dog was never a threat to the officer to begin with.
Agree on calling 911 (unless it is absolutely necessary). One never knows who will show up at your door - it will probably be a good and competent cop, but there’s a chance it may be a bad or incompetent person.
