Today We Get A Socialist Captain America…(left wing Disney/Marvel at it again)
Bleeding Cool News ^ | October 14, 2015 | by Rich Johnston

Despite beginning by punching out Adolf Hitler, Captain America has stayed relatively apolitical. He’s a soldier, doing what is ordered, sometimes rebelling against those orders when they are from a voice that is corrupt, but the actual political nuance has not bothered the character as much.

But that was Steve Rogers.

from the new Sam Wilson: Captain America #1. When the ex-Falcon has been thinking. And possibly watching last night’s Democrat debate. And doesn’t want to just be a tool anymore...Basically what if Bernie Sanders was Captain America?

Just when you think modern comic book can't get any worse.

Disney has nothing to do with the comic.

I like DC comics better. Like the series ‘Gotham’ a lot. Stan Lee of Marvel has always been a left wing gun grabber. Though DC has had their leftist moments too.

Woops...I am wrong. I thought the comic section was independent. It’s not.

Disney has nothing to do with the comic.

Other than owning the company that publishes it, that is.

Right off the bat Disney is premiering Star Wars on Christmas Day. REALLY?? CHRISTMAS?
As the last 3 Star Wars movies pretty much stunk up the place compared to the original 3......I’m looking forward to a change of direction with JJ Abrams who I felt did an excellent job with Star Trek. We will see

They are already doing that, the latest novel, “Star Wars: Aftermath” chronicling the events that happened after Return of the Jedi features a gay character who is gay for no other reason than being “progressive.” The fact the character is gay does nothing to explain their motives, or add any dimension to the character. Likewise the novel, “Lords of the Sith” introduced a lesbian character, and the new young adult novel “Lost Stars” hints, in a round about way that one of the characters might be bi-sexual.

So basically they are taking what is advertised as “space fantasy” and turning into more SJW nonsense.

Lots of Movies premiere on Christmas Day.

Apparently some people go to the movies on Christmas to avoid having to speak to their relatives.

Strange but it has been a big movie day for a long time.

Actually that’s not correct. Most of the current comic lines now fall under the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and will eventually fall into line with what Disney/Marvel are doing in films and TV.

Disney’s main customer base was 12 year old girls and is quickly shifting to LGBT

Dude, you are overreacting at the littlest things. A lot of movies appear on Christmas Day during the past 20 years and I still remember our family watching Tombstone as a kid at the theater (yeah, the malls and theaters were packed)

Just when you think modern comic book can't get any worse.

What?

They're not all just crammed with gay characters?
It's gotten worse?

Guess I'll just have to lower myself to traditional non-fiction books, written by normal emotionally healthy heterosexual adult men and women.

Oh the horror!

I stopped buying new comics about ten years ago. Prior to that point, there were often political points in stories, but they were subtext and opinions came from all sides. Sometime around Bush’s reelection it was like “all liberal, all the time” became the Marvel and DC mantra. So I walked.

And the sales have reflected the alienation of half the audience. In the 90s, books were cancelled if they fell below a 100,000 monthly average. Now if they average 30,000 they are “a hit”. And they cost four times as much.

This must be the Bizarro business model of publishing.

They still are!

With fleas, bedbugs, sundry unidentified diseases and mass killers.
