Why is it that, on St. Patrick’s Day, we Americans dress up in green, get drunk and do a bunch of Irish crap and, on Cinco De Mayo, we dress up in green and red, get drunk and do a bunch of Mexican crap but, on Columbus Day, we don’t dress up, get drunk and do a bunch of Italian crap?

used to be Columbus day parades in the northeast in cities with large Italian populations and all the churches held spaghetti dinners.

They managed to island hop during the last Ice Age when the water levels were much lower. That isnt exactly a feat of genius.
And still on top of that, many Caribbean islands were uninhabited, so isn't like these people were master ocean-goers.

Except they continued to travel from island to island and there were very few uninhabited islands in the Caribbean.
So I guess we are back to wormholes.
