Counter-battery radar picks up and plots the arc and passes the information to a cruciform-mounted magazine- fed 155. Fire control computer plots all necessary ballistic factors to achieve a good pattern with a low CEP, and sends it to the gun computer. Gun emits a movement-warning tone and swivels around and adjusts for aim.
Battery commander’s console delivers the following message:
“1 122MM ROCKET LAUNCHED FROM %ADDRESS% IN GAZA, PROJECTED IMPACT LOCATION BE’ER SHEVA. COUNTERBATTERY FIRE LAID IN TO REPLY WITH 6 ROUNDS, FIRE”? (Yes) (No)
