Once again, I don't get it.
Here are some dopey cliches not to use in your answers:
He didnt resonate. He wasnt ready for prime time. He failed to gain traction. He was a wallflower in the debates.
Stop it. I can talk like a Chuck Todd too, but what good would that do anyone?
You want to not only win the presidency, but you want to elect someone who is not only conservative but has proven he can achieve difficult conservative goals even in a very hostile environment - right?
Started great .... But then came the drip....drip....drip of RINO positions.
Immigration, immigration, immigration. Nothing more need be said.
People want a candidate that can win the national election.
Maybe 8 years of Obama has made people not willing to go for 8 years of Hillary becaause we have a candidate that is unable to get votes.
A repeat of one of my previous post;
“Too bad(what could have Been) Walker fell into the GOP-e soup and drowned. He was Consulted to death!:
What?
Do you think there is NO POWER in the ‘union movement’ any more?
The media would not—and STILL will not—pay him any attention or mention the effect he has had on his state’s economy.
And promise that by applying "Walker's secret sauce" he will solve all our economic problems, painlessly and overnight.
That's what voters, at least here on FR, seem to want.
From my perspective, he just got winnowed out. And some folks here pushing him didn’t do him any favors. You can’t get your candidate ahead by continually bashing Trump.
Immigration is how we got Romney because Rick Perry was too soft on the issue.
I fear we are seeing a replay.
I love Scott Walker and have been following him for years.
He is strong, but not bold, and in this election he needed to be bold.
I do not rule out needing to call back in if Trump tanks.
Because there are better, more conservative candidates.
Yes, you could tell immediately when he began waffling and not directly commenting on his position(s) immediately.
The GOP consultant class relieved him of his campaign funds and then moved on.
Yes, and I was ready to vote for Walker and support him, if he had stayed in and become the nominee. Walker was always in my top two or three.
At this point I like Cruz the best and then Rubio.
Because the world is exploding and Walker wasn’t sharp enough in his debate answers on foreign policy.
Looks boring...Sounds boring
That’s really all there is to it.
Flip-flopper
Perry and Walker are politicians, they are gone, the rest of the politicians are in the single digit category...
Trump, Carson are not politicians and look where they are at....
A good many FReepers DID (and may still do) support Walker vociferously. Not sure what the writer’s problem is understanding it’s a funding issue; Walker suspended his campaign, just as John McCain did just before the election in 2008, although for a different reason.
Walker may start his campaign again when he gets the funding, perhaps soon.
Because he’s got bad hair.
