I just read an article where an individual with an engineering degree and background determined that this device was nothing more than a 70’s digital alarm clock that had been removed from its housing and installed in a pencil box available on Amazon. Kind of like a detonator a terrorist would make to set off a bomb.

Well said and I don't buy the over-reacting angle not does the Irving Republican mayor, the beautiful and brave Beth Van Duyne.

I do not fault the school or the police for looking into what they saw as a potential threat. They have procedures to run when a possible threat or criminal act is discovered. They follow these procedures in the sole interest of protecting our children and school personnel.

As is most definitely the case with the “BLM” movement, I can’t help but feel in this case, there is at least some element of political pre-planning.
