A baby cannot be given a soul by the end of the first trimester because it would just be dead material for three months before it received the soul. That would be impossible.

There are different types of energy. Animals aren't dead material, but you don't acknowledge them as having souls.

All I'm saying is that there has to be a body, developed to a certain degree, for the soul to enter.

Lol... one of the more crazy statements I've read on FR.

That is wrong. Life is transmitted from parents to the unborn. The baby, at the moment of conception, is given his immortality from God.

Anything that is alive on this earth has a soul. The definition of "soul" means "that which enlivens."

However, humans are the only ones who's souls are immortal.

Really animals don’t have souls? Some animals have more soul then many humans do. They might not have a human soul, but they have a soul of their own type. And regarding humanity, the instant a sperm and egg meet in the act of conception, there is an unlocking of a person, who is probably more soul than body at that instant.

Animals will never have souls and Humans, the chosen creatures, receive their souls at the very moment of conception....their own DNA..whatever....they are every bit as much a human with only 2 cells as you are as an adult.
