After September 11, we swore America would never forget. Only 14 years later, the country is already forgetting:
Young people who have any ideas at all about why the unprovoked Muslim terror atrocities of 9/11 occurred seem to buy into a vague and totally false notion, fed to them by Muslims’ liberal allies, that it was somehow America’s fault.
Killing 3,000 people and destroying a few buildings was not a victory that would change the course of history in favor of expansionist Islam. But us blaming ourselves for it is.
As a fellow Maryland resident, you’ll be gratified to hear this. Delegate McDonough organizes an annual flag waving event on an I-95 overpass in Harford County.
We joined over 100 others waving US flags. We caused a significant traffic jam both north and south. About 80% of drivers blew their horns, waved or cheered. Semi’s pretty much all hit their air horns. Police lit up their lights and sirens as they passed underneath us.
We made sure the day wasn’t forgotten.
