We all know that main reason 17 Republican Candidates were being showcased in the Fox News Debates was to expose the foibles of Liberal Democrats and position themselves as the best candidate to defeat them.
Uh, thats not exactly the way things turned out.
For the first hour of the debates, the Fox News moderators didnt even utter the word, Hillary or Barack. No Hillary Clinton. No Barack Obama or any other Democrat names for that matter. Watching the debates was a bit surreal almost leading the viewers to believe that the main battle is one of Republicans battling Republicans for the U.S. Presidency.
Yes, there can be difference of opinion, but the main tone was supposed to be who could best beat Bernie or Biden or even Hillary if she survives the likely criminal investigations.
Its almost as if both Fox News and every candidate intentionally grabbed defeat out of the jaws of victory. Many times candidates dodged questions and said whatever they wanted, so why on earth didnt anyone grasp an early opportunity to jab the criminal establishment known as the Democrat Party and their criminal members, or perhaps a slightly less harsh version of that phrase? But they didnt do it.
Columnist C. Edward Write contributes to both Breitbart and The American Thinker and he penned an eleven word quip after the debates that summed up what was conspicuous by its absence the first hour, with this, Fox News seemed remarkably uncurious about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
And finally right at the one hour mark, Chris Wallace managed to eke out the Hillary word. Prior to that he and his co-moderators Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier seemed satisfied with simply setting up a flurry of spars and spats with far stronger focus on Republican in infighting than having a unified love fest over how each GOP champion would best those Democrat devils.
Looking back, this is all obvious, but during the debate it wasnt immediately noticeably clear, about the vacuum of what Republicans normally do best: blast liberal Democrats.
But the question is, why? Was it unintentional? Did the moderators and the candidates just lose track of time? Or is it something more sinister such as, just maybe, perhaps, Fox News doesnt really want Donald Trump or Ted Cruz to win? Is it kind of maybe possible that Fox News has become considerably more moderate than in prior Presidential election cycles? Is it possible that Fox News wants to grab that mushy moderate middle to add as viewers to beef up their ad revenue? Not sure. Just thinking out loud.
But you cant help wonder, why Fox News gave a complete pass to one of the most liberal and corrupt Democrat Party organizations and field of candidates in history. So bad in fact that they are apparently too ashamed of their current two candidates, that they delayed their own debates, between their two frontrunners, a Socialist and a criminal.
Remind me again why Fox News gave them a complete pass?
Because it wasn’t a debate ... it was a the Fox News Manipulation Event.
They want who they want and they will do anything to get it. And Trump is in their way. And Ailes doesn’t like it.
Good point.
I hadn’t thought of that.
I think our candidates wanted to identify who they were .. BEFORE starting the attacks upon Clinton (or whoever). We have a lot of time before the election.
Fox just became MSNBC2 for me.
They are as dead as the GOP is going to be in Nov 2016.
It was more about them and their ideas. I liked the way Huckabee though addressed Hillary.
Megyn Kelly thought she was being smart and thought the whole show was about her.
Why? Because the GOPe and the RATs are all a part of the same criminal enterprise and are both dedicated to the same objective, viz. to steal America from the people and give it to animals.
Obviously the only problems in our nation exist among the evil republican candidates. /s
Obama, Clinton Not Mentioned in 1st Hour of GOP Debates. Why?

Why? Dumb question.
These 17 goobers have to get past each other before they can focus on Hillary. This was a Republican debate. Not a Bash Hillary meeting.
That said - there was still plenty of heat poured out on the failures of Obama and Hillary.
It was a hit job and all appearing on fox today have been spinning spinning.
They should all be required to read the comments on MK FB page. Vitriolic is an understatement. Wonder if she will show up tonight
Any particular reason you only post from a single source?

I didn’t believe the moderators mentioned Iran until the second hour either.
Exactly RH.
This was a “take down” event, not a debate.
I mentioned earlier, I was sorely disappointed that not one of them on stage mentioned the ongoing FBI CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. Walker mentioned Klynton’s emails, but nothing about an ongoing FBI CRIMINAL investigation.
Why mention them? I think most people throw up in their mouths just a bit whenever they say the word ‘0dunga’ or ‘Hitlery’. See? I couldn’t even do it HERE. LOL
The 3 stooges ( moderators) talked for almost 1/3 of the entire time! Drudge had a minute count
Murdoch loves the Clintons and Pres VJ !
Fox died last night .
When a candidate says ‘We need to stop being wimps’ it’s pretty clear who they’re talking about!
“These 17 goobers have to get past each other before they can focus on Hillary. This was a Republican debate. Not a Bash Hillary meeting.”
Thank you for your common sense, in what has turned into a sea of insanity the last 2 days.
