Official Waco’s war on the First Amendment in the terse, turgid prose of the briefs filed so far
Radio Legendary ^ | August 1, 2015

Six Shooter Junction – Once upon a time, some bikers decided to drink a beer at a bar by the freeway and catch up on the politics of handgun law as contemplated by the Texas Legislature.

Seemed like the thing to do, since both the U.S. and Texas Constitutions guarantee a freedom to freely express one’s ideas in speech and writing, and to peacefully assemble with others with whome one may choose.

Now comes The State of Texas, by and through its Office of the Criminal District Attorney of McLennan County, and would humbly show unto WE THE PEOPLE that those laws do not apply when it comes to bombastic and hyperbolic charges filed on those who so choose.

None of those laws are even in the same league, much less the ball park, according to a response to a petition for an emergency writ of mandamus filed by an attorney who along with his client has been enjoined to keep his mouth shut about the facts of the case…

Dig the lingo, the local bebop in the dialect of high glaze…

The State –

State’s response to emergency petition for writ of mandamus filed 7/30/15:

In the wake of the violence, there was a heavy traffic of outlaw biker gang members traveling to the Waco area, and law enforcement intelligence had discovered that a “green light” had been given by certain criminal organizations to take retribution against law enforcement and/or members of rival gangs.

The Apostate –

Reply to state’s response to emergency petition for writ of mandamus :

The State’s Response Brief (“State’s Brief”) actually highlights almost everything that is wrong with the “gag order” in this case. Indeed, it purports to give this Court “facts” of the case that it claims are “facts” because these “facts are “what [is] “commonly known through press reports….For example, despite the fact that Mr. Clendennen belongs to the Scimitars Motorcycle Club, the State cites its own repeated press conferences in order to allow it to repeatedly refer to these “clubs” as “five outlaw biker gangs…Indeed, the word “gang” appears in the State’s brief ten times in an apparent attempt to prejudice this Court…”

Interesting how a biker war can be twisted into a first amendment case. Sounds.like a.Saul Alinski biker gang.

Oh, Waco has violated several of the Bill of Rights. Due Process? Reasonable bail? Confront the accuser? Freedom of association? And what about no disclosure of Brady materials?

This is shameful, as bad if not worse than what we see in big Democrat cities.

The “State” is taking the same approach as certain so-called FReepers who come to Waco threads and post huge numbers of posts that attempt to DEFLECT FROM THE GOVERNMENT (both Obama regime operatives as well as local Waco puppets acting in concert with that regime) ACTIONS (both in the initial incident and in later “cover up” activities).

By the time I hit the “Post” button, these statist apologists/operators may already have arrived...I’ll see.

Yep, post 2 marked the first of the likely many such deflections.

Which, of course, is why there have been dozens of dead LEOs in the Waco area in the past three months.

Oh wait... nevermind,..

Interesting how people can twist a Confederation of Clubs and Independents meeting into a “biker war”.

It does not take them long to get here. If it more than three posts, they are slow.

Lana Shadwick (Breitbart Texas) has a piece up today, too. Waco Bikers' Prosecution Persists with 'Guilt by Association' Arguments. Has little in the way of new material, pretty much rehashing the current situation. A couple names pop up that I haven't seen before, but it isn't clear if they are even involved in the case(s).

This is getting funny. Scimtars and Cossacks and Banditos aren’t gangs. Why no,,, they are patriotic clubs, very similar to Kiwanis, or the Elks lodge. LOL

These guys trade on cruelty and no mercy. But lord they squeal like stuck pigs when someone is too rough for them.

“Interesting how people can twist a Confederation of Clubs and Independents meeting into a “biker war”.”

Wait, ive been told by the biker bootlickers that anyone who wants to form a club with a patch had damn well better be there at the confederation of clubs, and will need Bandito permission to operate there. Otherwise there could be trouble. So which is it?

Even if these guys ate live babies three meals a day, premeditatively setting up a free fire zone and letting loose with automatic weapons at the first sign of trouble is not a lawful, nor appropriate response.

Bikers would be the first people to stand up for you if you got targeted by the government for being a conservative.

“Bikers would be the first people to stand up for you if you got targeted by the government for being a conservative.”

Bikers are not the same as members and hangers on for organized crime gangs. They have a fully documented history of murder, running dope distribution and enforcement for Mexican cartels, extortion, and the strip and prostitution business.

And most charming of all for real bikers. When your bike is stolen, there is a fine chance that these last of the living a-holes were involved in the theft or in the chop shop.

Its embarrassing to watch the panting effort to make them into antigovernment conservatives.

"Biker bootlickers"? LOL! That' be an oxymoron, right there.

You SPLC and other alphabet soup types need to get out more often, and I don't mean attacking folks.

Had the 'beeg bust' only involved combatants that'd be one thing, but shoot/lock 'em up and let the lawyers sort them out tactics are more worthy of the Stazi.
