Very good impromptu exchange at a stop at a farm in Iowa.

Gov. Walker is very firm with the family, inc their young son.

First few seconds low sound but it quickly clears up.

“Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA), sometimes called Deferred Action for Parental Accountability, is a planned American immigration policy which would grant deferred action status to certain illegal immigrants who have lived in the United States since 2010 and have children who are American citizens or lawful permanent residents. Deferred action is not full legal status, but in this case would come with a three-year, renewable work permit and exemption from deportation.”...

On May 26, 2015, the Obama’s Administration appeal of Judge Hanen’s injunction was turned down by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans by a 2-1 margin, leaving the injunction in place while the court case works its way through the court system.....

January 3, 2011 - Walker assumes Office of Governor of Wisconsin.

June 27, 2011: Walker Revokes In-state Tuition For Undocumented Students Attending Univ And Colleges In Wisconsin [ONLY STATE TO DO THIS to date] "- On Sunday, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) signed his two-year 2011-2013 budget, which included ending in-state tuition for undocumented students attending public universities and colleges. In-state tuition for undocumented students was approved two years ago by former Governor Jim Doyle (D) after the Hispanic community struggled for 10 years to pass it."

Walker and Trump are th
e only real fighters for this. Walker is the only one who ever wins on anything conservative (besides being a toady for big business.)

He needs to clean up his Sanctuary cities and Dane County, a sanctuary county. He might have a little more credibility then.

He probably does not have any control over those. They are local issues.

While I am enjoying Trumps moment in the spotlight, Scott Walker will be one of the finalists. He would serve our nation well.

He has a GOP legislature. They can defund Sanctuary cities, which is what Congress should do.

I like the way Gov Walker handled himself when he responded to this man and his question. Meaning no disrespect to this individual and his circumstances, it is obvious that he doesn’t understand how laws are made in America because they entered illegally.

Just because they are here doesn’t mean they get to change US law to suit their circumstances. Obama’s lawlessness only muddles the issues and the rule of law.

Madison and Dane county are so liberal and defiant, they’d do whatever they want regardless of funding and republican efforts. They’d tie up anything in the courts until hell freezes over just like they did with photo ID (was in the courts for four years)

A state can pass legislation outlawing sanctuary cities and requiring local law enforcement to cooperate with federal officials in retaining illegals.

Walker has a GOP legislature. There is no reason for him not to do this if he is serious about illegal immigration being controlled and enforced.

Wisconsin has far more important things to worry about. We are more than a thousand miles from Mexico. ....so his elimination of a sanctuary designation would be a symbolic waste of time..but whatever. My taxes and other regulatory issues matter more here.

You are aware of the huge tax burden that illegals are to the taxpayers? Not to mention the jobs that they take from American workers. This is not a small problem in any state.

You act as though I’m unaware of the nation’s problems. But I’ll tell you the liberals, unions and high taxes are Wisconsin’s main issues. So while illegals are an issue, they’re nothing here in comparison to the big three above.

Then he needs to stay at the state level. He is in no way equipped to take on the national problems we face nor foreign policy issues.

Ohhhh I see....if his state’s priorities aren’t met because yours are higher in Tennessee, then he’s unfit? Give me a break. Walker has picked on the highest and best areas to affect change and if it doesn’t meet your southern standards, up here in the north woods where ours are far different then he’s not fit? That’s foolish.
