I don’t know what in the hell is going in Colorado right now regarding animal cruelty. This just happened in my neck of the Colorado woods:
“Though he was bleeding and in pain when he was brought in to the shelter, she said, “his tail did not stop wagging.”
“He was just happy to see everybody who came in,” she said. “He shows the resilience and true nature of dogs, which is unconditional love.””
Just guts me.
Odin and Djinni were rough housing tonight and one of them yelped.
The noise lasted maybe a half second but it tore through my soul.
I will never get the sound of Halla screaming during her seizure out of my head, if I live to be a hundred.
I just cannot imagine inflicting agony upon an animal, like ^that^ up there.
Dunno if the influx of dopers with the new laws, someone that lives there would have to say.
It was a sane, patriot state when I lived there many years ago. Something bad has happened, at least in the urban areas, but what else is new?
