Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who is considered a conservative kingmaker as the man behind Fox News, took to Twitter Sunday with a swipe at Donald Trump's recent comments on illegal immigration.
Trump's campaign to be the Republican presidential candidate has swelled in support and media attention following his controversial remarks about the threat posed by undocumented immigrants in the United States.
He sparked outrage by saying that some people crossing the border from Mexico were "rapists" and "criminals."
The comments found support among some, but also a pile of criticism. A slew of corporations, including Macy's, NBC and ESPN, responded to his inflammatory remarks by severing business ties with the real estate magnate.
And on Sunday, the influential Murdoch added his voice to the chorus.
"Mexican immigrants, as with all immigrants, have much lower crime rate than native born," Murdoch wrote on a verified Twitter account. He cited El Paso as one of the safest cities, and added, "Trump wrong."(continued)

First of all, they are NOT Mexican “immigrants,” they are illegal aliens, who committed a federal crime merely by entering the U.S. illegally.
Second, it’s BS when Murdoch claims that these Mexicans commit crimes at a lower rate than the “native born.”
How does he explain that 83% of the outstanding murder warrants in Phoenix are for illegal aliens, and 86% of the outstanding warrants in Albuquerque? What about Los Angeles....aren’t the outstanding murder warrants in that city something like 90% - 95% for illegal aliens?
FOX has evolved into GOPe / Uniparty / open borders BS.
When it comes to illegals, some are rapists but ALL are criminals ergo enemies of the United States therefore supporting them IS treason. Put it this way: If 300 million French stormed over the border in a day, would you call that "immigration" or invasion? It's an invasion, they are enemies of the U.S., they are openly assaulting the sovereignty of the United States. Once again, the genius of Donald Trump has yet again made another person step out of the closet: Rupert Murdoch is a traitor to the United States and of course he will get away with it wont he.

El Paso may be “safe” compared to Ciudad Juárez just across the border, but that is not saying much for the place. El Paso is is a filthy, 3rd world cess pool of Mexicans. Everyone has fences and barbed wire for a reason.

Murdoch is citing bad statistics that are not accurate.

75 percent of those on the most wanted criminals list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
One quarter of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals, as are more than 40 percent of all inmates in Arizona and 48 percent in New Mexico jails.
Over 53 percent of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
63 percent of cited drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that number, 97 percent are illegal aliens. 66 percent of cited drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66 percent, 98 percent are illegal aliens.
The list goes on and on and on.
The cost of illegals to our nation are estimated at $113 billion. That is in just social services.
