Abel Reyna Saves Waco from Biker Scum

Abel Reyna (AR) and Sgt. Patrick Swanton must have been sweating cold as they blitzed the media with apocalyptic visions of SAMCRO and the Mayans stabbing, shooting, and raping their way across Central Texas Marketplace during church hour, with the heroic police saving the day. But it was showtime, and the news cameras were already rolling. And thus, the "biker shootout" meme was born.

This is a blog by someone quite critical of Waco DA Abel Reyna (in general) and his handling of The Great Waco Biker Shootout (in specific), so opinions expressed there should be taken cautiously.

A second blog entry "AR.com: Bad; Nationwide" continues this polemic. http://abelreyna.com/arcom-bad-nationwide

Blog or not the poster's points out many well documented inconsistencies in the story as being told by Waco officials. Some very good questions asked.

When Abel got the call on 5/17/15, he clearly saw a big hit as a way out of his crummy office in McClennan County to at least, Austin, and maybe Washington. And it might have worked out, except he failed to sort it out.

Now, he’s got a tiger by the tail.

Not to worry. The corrupt DC politicians will cover for him. Most we will get out of this is years of congressional investigations that accomplish nothing.

But what really keeps them up at night is knowing that the Black Widows are still out there and haven't been caught yet.

The good citizens of Waco should have already set up public stocks and baskets of rotten tomatoes for many of its city officials, PD and ATF.

Nah. There won’t be any hearings. Just lots of checks. With lots of zeroes.

I think you are right. The story has to go away for now before people start investigating (discovery) up the chain of command.

By admission on television, the FBI and ATF (and a couple other alphabet agencies) were there. This was preplanned much higher up than the local level.

They have to silence it, just as they have in larger online discussion groups.

How sure should we be that you can iterate and verify at least ONE of your wishful “well documented inconsistencies”?

Well for starters they arrested an ordained minister, and others with no criminal background, who weren’t involved in any fight, and kept them in jail under $1,000,000 bail for almost a month.
As far as I’m concerned this was practice for the next TEA party rally. They can’t come after us with the IRS again.

An ordained minister?? And ‘others’ arrested who were not involved in any fight?

Heck me and you both can get “ordained” for $50 online. Who was this ordained minister? Here all along you guys kept pushing the “meeting” was to discuss motorcycle safety. Now you going to turn it into a Prayer Meetin? Maybe the ordained minister was try to minister to the Twin Peaks waitresses.

Now, I am sure you can verify your claim that none were involved in any fight at Twin Peaks, right? They didn’t just happen to be in possession of a weapon (at this “non-incident”, I might add) when arrested at the scene of a 9 person homicide?

Actually, you two can be ordained for $19.98!

Good thing they showed us all the videos. Sure cleared up a lot of questions about what happened that fateful day.

Wait. What! No video? Say it ain’t so. Must be pretty bad if AR doesn’t want us to see them.

First off I don’t care how the guy was ordained. I don’t care if he preached that his Harley’s engine was God himself. I do know he had no criminal background. Neither did a lot of those arrested.
The meeting was to discuss politics, and motorcycle safety. The two go hand in hand. It was interrupted by a group, not invited because of past actions.
Just because a person rides a Harley, and wears colors does not make them a criminal.
Ever carry a pocket knife? I have my whole life. A Buck Knife with a 5” blade. There’s what a ton of these guys were arrested for. A few of us might be carrying guns as well. Being that I have my CC permit and actively carry a gun, in public places I guess also makes me a criminal. So please make sure and contact the ATF and let them know to get a swat team together for the next time I get together with a few friends and somebody throws a punch. I should also expect a $1,000,000 bond, and be left in a jail cell for almost a month, with no access to an attorney.

Who did fire the shots? If it was bikers you don’t think they would be hiding the autopsy reports do you? Really?

I guess the Feds must be glad to know there are people who will bow down to what ever story they and the media cook up.

I only know what I’ve read, and what I’ve heard from sources close to the incident, but if you don’t think the police story stinks from the head like a dead fish, your kidding yourself.
The Jack-Booted Thugs from the federal government thank you soundly for your support.

BUMP

On another level, this was the first demonstration of a "legal" way to forcefully suppress freedom of association among patriots.

Hard punishment administered first by "civil servants," then due process applied on a case-by-case basis later. Would that citizens and civilians could "legally" punish civil servants first and justify it later!

Yep.

What disturbs me the most is the people on this forum that are swallowing this crap hook line and sinker.

Very scary the number of citizens that will bow down before their Federal masters.
