this is not true
Be careful about passing on lies.
Many have found God because of his ministries.
His church thrives because many of the so called traditional churches have given up on society and only teach each other. Only accept each other, only feed each other.
Jesus was a radically transforming person.
You might have called him out for hanging with the people he did.
Joel Olsteen is not the problem.
Evangelism is the problem. People are not talking about the great things of God. They are talking about what other Christians should and should not be doing.
Of what benefit does this produce?
Show me proof of what you are saying. Then I will believe you.
Do you belong to his church? Do you attend the classes that go on at the church all week long?
What a shame his own father would not approve. His father was a strong man of God who spoke yes of course positive messages but he also preached about Sin and Damnation. Looks like Joel didn’t bother to hear his daddy preaching.
Great points and yet the media and the Church in general will go to the overused word, love as to his views on our culture and his interpretation of the Word. He to me, another pastor on this site, think he is not preaching the Word as the Book of John or anything written by Paul wrote.
We have some very good friends who adore Olsteen, I am very sorry to hear this. They are such devout Christian people.
I have never been to his church but I have seen him on TV and I am turned off by his manner.
Amen, sister!
JO is more a follower of satan than Christ and his denial of Christ speaks volumes.
He's right, linguistically speaking.
The term Allah is the exact Arabic equivalent to El and Elohim in ancient Hebrew, a closely related language. The Aramaic term Alaha, in the language Jesus spoke, is for all practical purposes identical.
It is the way the original language terms in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek are translated into Arabic.
Arabic-speaking Christians used the word for more than 500 years before Mo showed up.
Please note that I'm not saying prayers directed by Christians and Muslims go to the same being. Just that the word refers to the same Being.
Allah is not a name, it is a common noun, just like El and Elohim in Hebrew, Theos in Greek, God in English, and Бог in Russian.
