Are you asking about the Popemobile?
Hopefully, in a couple hundred years he’ll become the patron
saint of the short bus, drool bucket and helmet.
The Pope isn’t in a bubble, he’s simply an unrepentant Marxist...
He’s been fed a load of malarkey.
First time it’s been dignified to this extent, though.
How thick is his head?
Why does it take him 83 paragraphs before he mentions Christ’s name?
Good article. Thanks for the post.
I watched Pope Francis speak at some Euro summit on something or other and it seemed he was speaking from the perspective of head of state and not religious leader. The Vatican is one of those teeny-weeny states, but a state all the same.
From the review of the opening section of this encyclical it sounds like it could be more of the same perspective.
This could be a file-it-and-forget-it document in very short order.
I am glad this Pope issued this encyclical. Maybe now, people, including most Catholics, will realize that he is not some jolly Christian fellow. Rather, he is the product of a South American country which has had a dysfunctional socialist government for over 80 years.
Perhaps Francis is better suited to run against the Lady Kirchner in the next Argentina presidential elections. Jorge, you need to return to Buenos Aires soon.
Comrade Pope is making his move to become the “False Prophet”.
i’m so glad i grew up during the Reagan/Thatcher/John Paul II era.
i do however feel pity for those growing up in the Obama/Cameron/Francis era.
