While "non-violent" they are NOT disconnected in sympathy, support and excuses. They already are lit fuses. They're just long fuses.

Yes, so the choice is to light them all now and fight a battle on every street. OR wait until the new generations are exposed enough to Western culture to calm down on their own
You have to remember that in places where they are most fanatical, these people have had no exposure to other cultures for generations. Entire nations essentially became cults with no freedom.
Now you have kids able to see any book, magazine, show or movie ever created on a $20 pocket device. Instead of having only the Quran to study, they can see everything. The internet has completely changed the hold on information and the children of all these fanatics are now questioning everything!
