Today at the RNC Spring Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chairman Sharon Day welcomed four new members to the Republican National Committee’s Rising Stars program.

Estela Hernandez was recently elected as State Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Republican Party. She is Chairman of the Community Engagement Committee for the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women. She helped develop a successful minority outreach program for the Oklahoma GOP and Republican Women’s Club.

"I'm a conservative -- this is a conservative effort," said Estela Hernandez, who is the owner of Lone Star Construction in Oklahoma City and director of minority outreach for the Oklahoma Republican Party.
Hernandez, who said she lived in the United States for 12 years before becoming a citizen at age 18, also emphasized the need to act quickly. She said she has seen families split apart, with the parents deported and the children becoming wards of the state.
I keep looking for veterans among the young guns...why so few?
The RNC has to find the right ones like Jeff Denham, Coffman, Adam Kinzinger, Michael Grimm, John McCain, Bob Dole, HW Bush and others to make sure they know they play by the rules.
They need to cull the problematic ones like Allen West and others.
Be sure to thank the lesser evil supporters whose votes drove the GOP left. It is afterall, their actions, and those like them, that resulted in this mess.
None of them want to take responsibility for what they caused, but it does not change the reality. Someone cast those votes supporting ever more leftist Republicans and it wasn’t conservatives or Democrats.
Eh, I’d prefer guys like West, Duncan Hunter or Jeremiah Denton. In the case of Kinzinger, I’m surprised he didn’t volunteer to go through the same programs taht Hunter or West went through; it would have put him into combat leading men.

Why...thats just crazytalk! You vote GOP no matter what because when Reagan proclaimed the 11th, he specifically meant even if that republican hated everything republicanism and America stood for!
Ask half the ‘conservatives’ on FR.
Besides, if you don’t vote GOP then Obama will get trade deals with Iran and fast track trade.

it took me about 15 years to realize it. Just recently with the fiasco that is this Republican Congress. I’ve had it. I’ve had it with that rino network Fox News too. I’ve never heard a treaty with two thirds of the Congress having to vote against something instead of for something, as is the case with the Iran deal.
