The surprising thing isn't that George Stephanopoulos donated to Hillary's charity/slush fund and didn't tell anyone about it. The really surprising thing is that Republicans continue to pick debate moderators who are clearly liberals. Regardless of whom George did or did not donate to, we know what side he's on.
My radical suggestion is to pick debate moderators who are either conservatives or clearly impartial, who won't ask gotcha questions akin to "Why do Republicans hate the poor?"
Here is my list of suggested moderators:
1) Mark Levin. He's very tough on his radio show, but when he interviews people he's a gentleman, and he knows more than most people have forgotten.
2) Brit Hume/Bret Baier. Both scholarly, thoughtful journalists who won't ask "when did you stop beating your wife" questions.

What, no Candy Crowley or the Perky One?
*******************
Then how about Brian Williams? lol
Steve Harvey
Mark Levin
Ted Nugent
Brit Hume.
I’d expect no softballs, no favoritism and no editorializing.
Rush.
Rush
It is so important as the question matter.Soft ball BS ? are a sham.
Any one from Fox would suite me fine and please no Mis-Fits from MSNBC.
Louie Gohmert.
Who the hell decided that the media should have sole domain over debates?
Chris Plante.
Most of you have never heard of him, and that’s the point. The debate is about the candidates, not the moderator.
Those of you who listen to FM 105.9 WMAL 0900-1200 know he’s a good interviewer and doesn’t tolerate BS.
got me by 35 seconds
another good radio type would be Howie Carr
In reality, I’d prefer your choice!
I wonder if he’d use his standard concert line:
“If anybody here is feeling mellow, get the f_ck out!”
Jim Robinson.
1. Harris Faulkner
2. Stacey Dash
3. Britt Hume
4. Mark Levin
5. Brett Bair
Bill O’Reilly or Megan Kelly, I’m trying to be neutral. My real choice would be Jeb Bush or Mike Huckabee but they still insist on running.
Yep.
In fact, there are dozens of local or small market radio talk show hosts who would jump at the chance, and would do a good job of it.
And most of us have never heard of them.
The RIght Rebrunt Al Sharpton
the funniest debates the world could ever IMAGINE
but seriously....anyone but candi girl
I’d rather skip the Moderate GOP debates. For the Conservative one, perhaps Mark Levin.
John David Wells. No debates moderated by Hannity, he’d be talking over the participants the entire time.
