Albuquerque police arrest man accused of beating, raping 75-year-old

Ernest Casias Ernest Casias ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The man accused in of beating and raping an elderly woman is now behind bars.

Albuquerque Police have arrested 56-year-old Ernest Casias.

In early March, police found a 75-year-old woman at her apartment near Academy and McKinney. A co-worker called APD, saying she hadn’t seen her show up. According to police, she had been raped and then violently beaten.

According to the criminal complaint, Casias and the woman may have been working to start a business and that she had already paid Casias around $25,000.

On March 11, Casias was brought in for questioning and refused to give a DNA sample. Nearly three weeks later, detectives got a sample with a warrant.

Investigators also say the victim pointed to Casias in a photo lineup after waking up from a weeks-long coma.

Casias was supposed to turn himself in Saturday afternoon, but he was a no-show. He was taken into custody and booked Monday.

She paid the guy $25 grand to start a business so he beats her up and rapes her. Poor business model. Hang him.

http://www.fugitive.com/2015/05/04/ernest-casias-wanted-for-alleged-sexual-assault-of-75-year-old-woman-in-albuquerque/

“Drobik said that Casias beat the woman with a hammer, breaking her neck and nose and knocking her dentures out of her mouth. Officers found her on March 7, the day after she was attacked, and police said she was covered in blood along with her bedroom, hallways and bathrooms, according to the complaint.”

Deserves cruel justice.

Couldn’t figure out a way to use hammertime without being a bastard to the poor woman.

Mobile justices on patrol with squads. to administer quick trials and sentences to those convicted of capital crimes. Which can then be carried out by non-witness cops that are there.

It is an old honoured trait in Texas to protect our women. NM is not much different on that count generally. I lived in NM for 14 years, we loved the climate and most of the people.

There was a time in TX when such an event would have been dealt with locally, quietly. It would not have recurred.

That no longer happens, a day may come when such replacement for courts will be necessary.

Anyone who does such cruel things to a 75 year old woman is subhuman and deserves to be treated as such.

This one is not about sex, it is about attempted murder.

He may be as you say, but his actions came very close to killing the old woman.

Suspect he will get some of this back when he goes to prison. Sick vermin.
