Since his crimes were so horrendous that he tried to censor them, I can’t imagine anything less than all of it. His heart needs to begin to “heal” and we have to start somewhere...

The rumor that’s been circulating for years was that they had a ghost writer which they paid cash and hushed him up with legalities. And most crew members who worked with Damon knows he’s not that intelligent on set either. I do know as I worked on a film with him years ago and he was hated there.

I worked with Affleck years ago and he wasn’t that bright either.

I think Castle Rock saw a marketing opportunity and came up with the “two struggling actors friends since childhood are selling their furniture and write a screenplay and hit it big”. That’s how GOOD WILL HUNTING was marketed. They never dreamed it would get an Oscar.

Some poor writer was paid a “buy out” without getting writing credit and was made to sign an agreement that he’d never talk about it. And he may have been promised they’d buy a few more scripts down the road. This is all just conjecture on my part.

I do know writers are the ones who get screwed the most in Hollywood.
