In a January 17, 1988 appearance on "Face the Nation," then-Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Benjamin Netanyahu explains why those seeking peace between Israelis and Palestinians may have to "wait a long time."

Nice. Meet the new boss....
“Cease fire”
Israel ceases
Palestinians fire
That means this crap has been on.
LITERALLY MY ENTIRE LIFE!! >:(
The "Peace Process" has become an institution.
Something you go to work for and never solve because that means the end of your job.
War feeding War >:(
I think Bibi’s changed his mind about Israel giving up “land for peace.” I think his first term ended because of that.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s present position on that is defined by his Bar-Ilan speech in 2009, right after Obama became President. Netanyahu affirmed right after this recent election that THIS REMAINS his position and that he HAS NOT CHANGED from Bar-Ilan!
Kinda reminds me of the interview Morley Safer did with Anatoly Kuznetsov back on 2SEP1969 after he defected from the Soviet Union. Stupid Leftist reporters asking many of the same stupid questions. The answers Kuznetsov and Netanyahu give still apply today.

If you don’t know who Kuznetsov is you can read about him here.
Anatoly Vasilievich Kuznetsov (August 18, 1929, Kiev June 13, 1979, London) was a Russian language Soviet writer who described his experiences in German-occupied Kiev during WWII in his internationally acclaimed novel, “Babi Yar: A Document in the Form of a Novel.” The book was originally published in a censored form in 1966 in the Russian language.

“Babi Yar: A Document in the Form of a Novel,” is an internationally acclaimed documentary novel by Anatoly Kuznetsov about the Babi Yar massacre. The two-day murder of 33,771 Jewish civilians on September 2930, 1941 in the Kiev ravine was one of the largest single mass killings of the Holocaust.

No, but I think his views changed prior to 2009.
Perhaps another way of saying it ... is ... his Bar-Ilan speech was a change from his previous position, and that it has remained the same through today (from Bar-Ilan).
I don’t know how many times it changed prior to 2009, but it hasn’t changed since 2009, according to what Netanyahu said within the last couple of weeks.
Sounds right to me.
I pray for Bibi to stick to his guns.
I’m 62, and the “Peace Process” has been going on literally for my entire life.
I first became aware of it in 1964 when I saw a firebombed car owned by an Israeli diplomat.
