I’m purposely comparing Palin to Walker. And asking if it’s a fair comparison. I realize any criticism of Palin will get strong negative reactions from many here, and I respect that. But I think it’s a relevant question. In the coming months many conservatives are going to be wondering who is better as the nominee, Cruz or Walker. Asking the question, did Walker take the heat better than Palin, is a valid measure of his worth as a candidate. If the question is comparing apples to oranges, then it’s good to get that out now too. I’m not the only person wondering about this.
Thank you for making that clear.
Walker took and is taking the heat.
Makes more sense now. Can't answer the question but my sense is that he handled it very well and the guns out for him were a bit different but no less potent due to his dismantling of the union empire.
We heard more about Palin because she was an active WH candidate and most of Walker's really outrageous heat was generated before he was under so much of the spotlight.
I don't think the comparison can be quantified one-to-one, but he seems worthy enough.
My first choice is Cruz, and I look forward to making a donation to his Presidential campaign very soon of rumors are correct about him declaring tomorrow.
I'll support him with everything I have at hand and hope he makes the final ticket. If he doesn't make it, and Walker is still viable, I won't hesitate to try to push him over the top - no matter what many seem to think, we cannot be idiots enough to let 8 years of Obama be followed by another Dim in the WH - it will break the heart and souls of conservatism and produce a lot of ineffectual professional ragers and whiners on our side.
