The page that was linked above [speedy deletion designation] for “Scott Walker presidential campaign, 2016”

Now goes to a live page.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Walker_%28politician%29#2016_campaign_for_president

But the “talk page” about misinformation and misleading information is still working.

Here is why the “Scott Walker presidential campaign, 2016 was removed and marked “Speedy Deletion.”

“.......The criteria for speedy deletion specify the only cases in which administrators have broad consensus to bypass deletion discussion, at their discretion, and immediately delete Wikipedia pages or media. They cover only the cases specified in the rules here.

Deletion is reversible, but only by administrators, so other deletions occur only after discussion, unless they are proposed deletions. Speedy deletion is intended to reduce the time spent on deletion discussions for pages or media with no practical chance of surviving discussion.”.......

Here is what remains after edits [discussed at the “talk” link] in what had been the controversial section “Scott Walker presidential campaign, 2016” - now shown on the Wiki page titled “Scott Walker, politician”

“As of March 2015 Walker has not announced whether he is running for president, but in late January he set up a 527 organization called “Our American Revival” to “help spread his message and underwrite his activities” which The Washington Post described as helpful for building the political and fundraising networks for a run for the presidency.[140] In February 2015, Trip Gabriel of The New York Times described him as having “quickly vaulted into the top tier of likely candidates in the Republican presidential race”.[134] Peter Beinart of The Atlantic noted Walker’s success with a conservative audience at the Iowa Freedom Summit.[141]

Following a controversial statement by Rudy Giuliani, Walker declined to answer the question of whether he believes President Obama loves America or was a true Christian, and stating that he did not know if President Obama’s patriotism was in doubt.[134]”

HOW did you do that!??

Go to the link you posted above. Click the "See More..." link to see the expanded list.

Select the big long list of links with your mouse. Now select View Selection Source (works on Firefox; needs an extension on Chrome). You should have a big list of <li> elements, each corresponding to a bulleted link in the original.

Copy the selected HTML, which will consist of a number of <li>...</li> links, and paste it into the posting window between <ul> and </ul> tags, preceded by a suitable introduction.

Looking forward to Cruz’ announcement speech.

Me too - found this note in my email this morning:

Dear Robert,

A new generation of courageous conservatives is rising to reignite the promise of America.

Tonight, Ted will make an announcement, and I wanted to make sure you are one of the first to see it.

So if you’re on Twitter, keep an eye on @tedcruz! And if you aren’t, you’ll be able to catch the announcement here: https://twitter.com/tedcruz.

For liberty,

Jason Johnson
Chief Political Strategist
Sen. Ted Cruz
