A high school freshman was arrested in connection with the killing of a man walking his dog last week in Philadelphias Overbrook section. A second teen, who police say actually pulled the trigger, is still on the loose.
--snip--
A second 15-year-old, Tyfine Hamilton, fired the shot that resulted in the death of the 51-year-old husband and father, said Clark. He's still at large and considered armed and dangerous, police said.

"Get with your parent and turn yourself in before we come and get you," warned Clark during a news conference Thursday afternoon. "We know where you are."
Both teens were known to officers from previous crimes....

At some point, this doesn’t end well for a whole class of people.
Sickening.
Kids got done playing basketball, decided to rob somebody - guy looked like an easy target - well, it gave them something to do.....
I walk my small West Highland Terrier every night after a long day at work. It helps me unwind. I also carry a CZ 75B with 12 rounds of .40 cal hollow point. An encounter with me and my dog probably would have resulted in a different outcome.
Well the currently attacked class of people better wake up and get their heads out of their asses that the other class of people are already at war with them.
Should be “Leg’s up, don’t shoot” protests across the country.
Wanna bet that if the punk gets gunned down, it will start another riot in Ferguson?
Also noticed how well basketball worked at stopping this crime.
I honestly don’t know why any older person - over 40 - who’s had at least good schooling before it went craptastic propaganda - would ever walk around unarmed. Alone.
“Why did you shoot him 12 times?” That’s all the ammo I had...like your outlook!
Come at me, bro.

Carry a weapon and shoot first. Current law enforcement will arrest you but you’ll still be alive. Society is upside down and the criminals are winning.
No, now it’s “This wouldn’t happen if we had more jobs!” Dontcha’ know?
They probably walk around unarmed because it is against the law in their jurisdiction, they have families, a mortgage, car payments, insurance, and six-figure employment that will vanish in an instant with a felony conviction. That’s my guess.
I grew up in s state that had not so much of these violent urban populations. I lived in that state when it had 5.6% black population. It now has ~6.2% black population, and it has problems with murders and gang violence, but only in select zip code ranges which, surprise, surprise are not overabundant with Irish folks.
I now live in a census designated place which in 2010 had 94.59% non-Hispanic Caucasian population. The very rare crimes here are property crimes, typically committed by a subcontractor who is doing carpentry or painting, and cannot resist the temptation to steal. We live on an island with one bridge entrance, so if crime ever became an issue, Barney Fife could park at the bridge, and, no problem.
On the other hand, I have sympathy for folks who have to live in neighborhoods which are afflicted with vermin like that described in the article. It is a shame, but it is a cultural problem. And that means that folks from that general culture need to recognize the problem and do something effective about it.
If you can’t walk your dog without fear of getting shot and you can’t be armed to defend yourself, it is time to find any way you can to leave that neighborhood.
You live in Detroit? On the island?
Quick!
Somebody call in Al Sharpton before the police abuse these young boys.
