obama-as-king

Remember this. Remember it well, you liberal dumb**ses:

“What we’ve done is we’ve expanded my authorities under executive action and prosecutorial discretion..."

Let's repeat that:

“What we’ve done is we’ve expanded my authorities under executive action and prosecutorial discretion..."

Your support of this megalomaniacal dictator is going to have long lasting consequences.

“What we’ve done is we’ve expanded my authorities under executive action and prosecutorial discretion as far as we can legally under the existing statute, the existing law."
Prosecutorial discretion:
Prosecutorial discretion refers to the fact that under American law, government prosecuting attorneys have nearly absolute powers. A prosecuting attorney has power on various matters including those relating to choosing whether or not to bring criminal charges, deciding the nature of charges, plea bargaining and sentence recommendation. This discretion of the prosecuting attorney is called prosecutorial discretion.
I benefited from this once. Decades ago I was pulled over for allegedly running a red light. To this day I deny it. It was yellow and I will not ever be disabused of that concrete belief. I went to the prosecutor and talked to him about it. He asked me what happened and I gave him my version of the story. He then read the report claiming that traffic had begun to move. That was absolutely false. In any case, I convinced him and since I had no record of any kind he decided to nollie the ticket.

That is prosecutorial discretion. What Obama is doing is not prosecutorial discretion. It's failure to enforce existing law. I hope you'll be as compliant when a Republican President "expands" his authorities as well.

Prosecutorial discretion is meant for individual cases. Using "prosecutorial discretion" for 5 million is the nullification of law. And it doesn't stop there. In the bizarre world of Barack Obama, those sworn to uphold the law are threatened with "consequences" by the President of the United States should they dare enforce the laws of the United States.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Let's see where this can go:

Part of the fault lies with Congress (unconstitutionally) giving government bureaucrats the power to make rules with the weight of laws.

Once there is no longer respect for the law, there is no nation.

Money quote! America is no longer a nation of laws, it is a nation of men. The fact that regional and local order is maintained is just a veneer over the truth that America as a legal nation is dead thanks to Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama.

It’s not even unconstitutional, they literally can’t do it. It introduces a legal paradox where a governing authority takes legislative control over a body that no longer has the ability to legislate. They’ve literally nullified themselves.

American Federalism is dead.

Most Obama worshipers I've talked to about this dictatorship give me a blank stare. As long as they get some benefit from the king — the free stuff — they really don't care. The dictatorship will have to adversely affect them personally in order for them to realize what they have done.

For most people, it’s like DEVO sang.

Freedom of Choice, is what you’ve got.
Freedom from Choice, is what you want

L O L!!

The ‘Republicans’ who don’t have the stones to challenge “O” for all this are the SAME ‘Republicans’ who wouldn’t have the stones to DO THE SAME IN HIS PLACE!!

Nope. Just like with the Nazis, they will claim brainwashing and use others as their scapegoat. The group at blame never owns up.

That is pretty much it. I keep hearing all this talk about economic or dollar collapse. Shouldn't this have happened by now? This country simply cannot afford all these welfare programs.

The dictatorship will have to adversely affect them personally in order for them to realize what they have done.

They will not blame him, but someone else.

"Most Obama worshipers I've talked to about this dictatorship give me a blank stare."

I only know one 'true believer', unfortunately he's my brother. He's unreachable so political conversations are rare, but when they do happen his pat response is, "oh, where'd you hear that?, Fox News?". Never any contrary facts, just that my facts are wrong because of their (wrongly) assumed source.

You’re right about the media. For the past week, the “news” had been filled with Oscar talk. The last few days, it’s been Dancing With the Stars. If the media spent more time on what really matters, we might have an informed electorate.

But all this fluff that clogs up the airwaves is deliberate. The media, including Fox, has its orders. Make people feel good. Don’t give them bad news. As long as the masses are content, they won’t notice their rights are being taken away.

Not to worry. It’s a moot point. There won’t be another republican president anywhere in the near future anyway.

The voters spoke in November, and even though the republicans have the majority in both houses, they still cave and give obama everything he wants. The latest in a long list is the DHS funding while letting obama slide with his executive amnesty. Don’t worry, boner is going to cave like he always does. That’s his golfing buddy, man.

I’m tired of voting for them and “hoping” they do the right thing. I think the pendelum has swung. It will be a cold day in hell when I pull the trigger for another loser with an R behind his name.

I get the race card. If I say anything negative about the king, I must be racist. You're right. There is no counterargument. If they don't have any facts to bolster their argument, they simply vilify and marginalize their opponent. I understand that's a method used by Alinsky.

Re “race card”

During a recent conversation he asked if I saw the State of the Union.
I said I have no desire to watch the lying buffoon. He said “that’s racist”.
I asked if he’s ever been to the buffoon exhibit at the zoo.

The racist argument must be made in their language. Like calling them racist
for not voting for the White guy because Obama was Black. Equally justifiable argument.
