America has suffered several judgments...a day after passing or enacting immoral or ungodly laws. They have not seen the writing on the wall, or associated it with the real event. I think that we are not going to change, but God’s hand is somewhat stayed in passing a full judgment because of the righteous. The truly righteous continue to support Israel. However, we, the righteous, are not holding on very well, and as we continue to cave to hedonous sexual sins being welcomed and celebrated in the church, God will let the full consequences of our national folly fall on our country, to include the righteous. His time of grace is nearing an end. We MUST repent of our personal and national sins. We must continue to be Israel’s best ally.

Genesis 12:3

It’s as easy as 1,2,3!

The modern nation of Israel is a heathen nation like all other heathen nations that do not bow the knee to Christ (every nation I can think of). Though early Americans arguably thought they had a Christian nation, today America as a nation is rejecting Jesus Christ, even as many who profess Christ are deceived by false teachers.

Romans chapter 11 tells us of the future of Jews and their corporate (in other words, significant number) acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - after the “fulness of the gentiles”. It is necessary to read and understand Romans 11 to understand the topic.

The Bible tells us that Christ reigns in heaven since his resurrection.

Also, that the enemies of Christ will be made his footstool.

Thus the Bible tells us that Christ will subdue the nations with the sword of the spirit, the Word of God.

Also, that Christ is the ruler of the nations.

So far at this point, the nations of the world stubbornly reject Christ. Actually much more than they did a couple centuries ago when a number of nations actually professed nationally to be Christian nations.

Since we see so much heathen, anti-Christian attitude and worldview amongst the gentiles, that is, open rejection of and hostility towards Christ and Christian believers and the Word of God, the Bible, it seems pretty clear that we are not seeing the fulness of the gentiles referred to by Romans 11. Until that time, some Jews have converted and will convert to Christ, but as a corporate body the Bible says they will not convert yet. Romans 11 describes what a wonderful thing it will be when that conversion happens. Until then, the modern state of Israel is simply the modern state of a combination of Pharasaical Judaism and new world order machinations. Of course, pretty much every other nation in the world at this point is ALSO a result of the machinations of new world order, if only fairly well under its control, with governments completely corrupted and manipulated by the world’s financial elites.

The Bible is clear that all national governments, leaders and peoples will eventually bow the knee to Christ, either freely or forcibly, in the day of judgement.

Am in agreement with both yours and Shery’s posts.

I’m not sure I’ve received clear instruction of the term “fullness of the gentiles comes in”. To me, it has meant the last of the gentiles to be saved before that great and terrible Day. I welcome your input.

The Jews are back in the land in unbelief, as spoken of in Ezekiel. However, they will not become believers until Christ returns, resurrects the believing church, then He will present Himself to His brethren, as Joseph presented himself to his brethren on their 2nd return to Egypt to buy grain. Zechariah 12:10 says they will weep bitterly over Him whom they pierced.

We cannot judge the fulness of the gentiles based on America. Yes, we are apostate, but there is a huge number of new believers coming out of the Muslim nations and China. Persecution is driving many to faith in Christ as they see many in their minority populations suffering and dying for their faith in Christ. Persecution in the west could bring a revival, but I am not encouraged by that. I know it is coming here, as I truly believe Obama and ISIS are judgments to America for our apostasy. However, I see a lot of so-called Christians in America falling further away, and not repenting. The fist is up against God and I see a hardening, instead of a repentance coming. I hope I am wrong.

Just a few thoughts...

God is the one all along who has provided the victory; Christians are led to Christ by God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Mt 22:44 “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?”

Ps 110:1 “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”

For 2,000 years Christians have been an instrument God uses; they are not able to make the victory themselves, it’s God doing it, as people can not convert souls, they can only speak the words of the Bible. Those whom God elects, upon hearing (or reading) the Word of God, are drawn to seek and believe in Christ by the Holy Spirit. This is all plainly stated in Scripture.

God has promised final victory and God is implementing final victory; God will succeed at what he has promised, namely, he will make Christ’s enemies his footstool - as described in the Bible clearly. The clear interpretation of the Day of Judgement is a single day - this has always been understood - everyone will be resurrected in a single day, the sea shall give up her dead, etc. The elect on that day will be with God, those who are not among the elect will be resurrected to their judgement and be cast into a lake of fire. This is not my private interpretation but has always been generally understood, as Biblical scholars since the early Church have based their understanding on Scripture and this is what Scripture teaches.

The Kingdom building work is never referred to in any way in Scripture as ultimately failing, with the world being overcome by evil, and Christ needing to descend from heaven to subdue his Kingdom physically - this is not taught in Scripture. There is no mention of the Great Commission failing.

The New Testament, quite to the contrary, consistently promises true believers that they can have the greatest hope in the success of the great commission, that Christ’s enemies will be made his footstool - godly dominion over the world - and we are assured of this and exhorted to persevere, that the victory is already won.

Victory represents godly dominion. Consider very carefully how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught us to pray to God in his name:

Matthew 6

“9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Going over verse 10, we see “thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”.

This is the very picture of godly dominion.

When God’s people (after Christ’s death and resurrection, all true believers in Christ) err, and turn away from God, they certainly will be chastised and will not find themselves succeeding at godly dominion. Nations that reject Christ are chastised with a rod of iron. After chastisement and returning to God of course the blessings of God then follow according to promise, and God’s people once again find themselves stewards over great houses.
