The Fundamental Transformation of America is, in a sense, his cover.
Obama has this dream. No, not the somewhat sappy one allegedly ghost-written for him on the pages of Dreams from my Father by Billy Ayers, but one of far more frightening dimensions.
Obama’s dream is everyone else’s waking nightmare, the takeover of North America by caliphate-seeking jihadists.
Nobody’s ever going to believe it. People who can’t allow themselves to believe that Obama doesn’t love America would never be ready to believe that Obama was brought into power for the express purpose to hand the coveted North America kingdom over to the jihadists.
North America is new ground in a new world crusade just like the one that’s been going on largely uninterrupted for centuries.

With all due respect to the authors, “Caliphate crusade” is an oxymoron, unless of course the Caliphate has suddenly adopted the cross as its symbol.
“Caliphate jihad” may be more accurate.
Normalcy Bias.
Cognitive Disconnect.
Societal Inertia.
Unable to process reality as it is occurring because they are stupid, ignorant, or pre-occupied.
Whatever you want to slap in there as the reason, they’re all up there.
Invasion is invasion, regardless of the pretty names it may be graced with.
Sure, the cover story for the Caliphate could very well adopt the cross as its symbol.
Consider the capacity the Islamic conspiracy has for disguising their intent through artful application of taqiyya, rationalized repeatedly in the Koran, though nowhere is the word itself used anywhere in the text. When non-Muslims confront Muslims about truth facts that are inconvenient to Muslims, Muslims often lie, even on record and in front of other Muslims, who do not appear surprised since they also know about taqiyya.
Muslims may chose to appear to BE Christian, if that promotes their ultimate objective. But once in a position of advantage, they quickly discard all the artifice and revert to their default ideology.
Rather like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall.
Certain symbols are group-specific. Muslims would never adopt the cross for a symbol given its history, unless of course they are utterly (or transparently, such as in Obama and Jeremiah Wright’s cases) hiding their Muslim status.
