Thats some nuanced nuance right there. The ISIS Jihadists just want to join John Kerry for a meal at a fancy restaurant. Maybe he can invite them on over.
Kerry introduced the topic of what motivates terror recruits.
Why do people make what to many of us would seem to be an utterly wrongheaded choice and become the kind of terrorists that were seeing? he asked. Its a question that we need to approach with humility, but also with determination, because you cannot defeat what you dont understand.
Certainly, there is no single answer, Kerry continued. In our era, poisonous ideas can come from almost anywhere from parents, teachers, friends, preachers, politicians from the pretty woman on a radical website who lures people or the man in the next cell who proselytizes while in prison.
They might grow from pictures seen on the nightly news or from acts of discrimination or repression that you dont think much about on the day of occurrence, but which come back to haunt. It could come from the desire to avenge the death of a loved one, he said.
In some cases, they may come from a lost job or from the contrast between one familys empty dinner plate and a fancy restaurants lavish menu. The poison might even come from within, in the form of rebellion against anonymity, the desire to belong to a group, people who want a moment of visibility and identity, or the hunger for black-and-white answers to problems that are very complex in a remarkably more complicated world.
It must be all those pretty women in Burkas and all those Jihadists who want access to lavish menus. If only we could send them some place with a catered menu.
Americans are supposed to have sympathy for the accused terrorist detainees now on hunger strike to protest supposedly cruel conditions at the US military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
I dont want these individuals to die, President Obama recently lamented, adding he intends to close Gitmo and transfer the detainees to US prisons.
But just a few years ago, detainees got so plump from overeating hummus and other dishes from the camps Islamically correct menu that commanders specially ordered treadmills to help them lose weight.
He said they get as many as four choices of halal meals and have access to a new $750,000 soccer field. Islamic prayer beads and rugs are now standard issue. They get their choice of more than 10,000 Islamic books and videos stocked by a Muslim librarian, who also records soccer and Arabic TV for them. They even have their own clerics to preach to them in Arabic.
Kerrys idiot flavor of nuance is to argue that there are so many reasons that theres no point in discussing them all, so we can just skip over the whole Islam thing.
World Peace?

Got it John, ISIS terrorists are just another bunch of bitter clingers, kinda like those hicks in flyover country. Or maybe just rebellious yutes, sort of an Occupy Middle East. In Kerry's nuanced world the idea that they could really be devout Muslims who sincerely believe waging jihad is a sacred religious duty doesn't even get a mention as a possible motive.
Apparently those problems exist almost exclusively in Islamic communities.
The last “fancy restaurant” I visited had big golden arches in the parking lot!
The one on the left is far more glib.
We’ll send the ISIS an air drop of McRibs!
Well, don’t cut my head off, I haven’t been to any restaurant in years.
I just posted that because it accompanied the article on FrontPageMag.
I don’t know who the others are besides Kerry.
That is Syrian president Assad isn’t it?
Yup.
You win.

Uh, thanks. I hope the prize isn’t a dinner with sKerry.
Don't be silly.
We could never be that cruel.
It's dinner with Teresa.
You bring the rasins, Boy Toy.
Arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Should be a movie: The other side of stupid.
Those making excuses for murderers will be in judgement with them, now this is fair wanna be stupid?
